The 1955 Chevrolet Cameo pickup truck was based on the 3100 "Task Force" series of Chevrolet trucks. Cameos could haul the same payloads as other 3100s but featured more style, as they featured several trademark Harley Earl styling cues and distinctive appointments that differentiated it from standard models - witness the more car-like styling, deliberate use of chrome and stylized bed that replaced the Stepside fenders. This particular Cameo is equipped with the Taskmaster 265ci V8 and a 3-speed Hydramatic transmission.
