What a cool color combo and love the dressed up tires and caps. Add A/C and and seatbelts and I'm on board. LoL noticed the drive was early morning or late evening to avoid the heat.
Thanks for the kind words. We have been very fortunate to locate some real American treasures ..... enjoy driving, showing and working on them. We are always on the hunt for the uncommon rarely seen high option, high quality cars.
my grandpa has a red one, my dad drove it back from our lake house in wisconsin back to chicago and he got a good calf workout from the clutch and brakes.
This is my all-time favorite truck, right here, with those factory options. Even the color is my favorite. My goodness, how I wish it was MINE. Just gorgeous. These Cameo's and the Apache's make all the newer trucks look like shit. The styling of all those 50's trucks is so classy. I tip my hat to the designers of that era........they really had a good eye and imagination for what looks GREAT.
I really like most everything about this truck however I am disappointed to see the fender badges on backwards... someone had them off for some reason or another.
Thanks, please keep watching. The best is yet to come. By the way, some of the cars you have seen in these videos are now in Germany and various places in Europe.
Nice truck! Please clear up something for me though. How is it that many of the '57 Cameos have the gas filler cap on the left side (as this one), but others have a "hidden" cap, located behind the right side taillight assembly? Thank you!
