It’s funny because Farfa’s meme review itself is a meme now: **mildly funny meme if you get the reference** Farfa: I don’t get it Chat: Well here’s why it’s funn- Farfa: “I’M UNCULTURED, THEREFORE BAAAAAT!!!”
As Pepega, the ruler of chaos, fought the branded one, Albaz, he activated his effect. Albaz shrunk back in fear and Pepega said, 'Stand proud Albaz, you're strong'
The Floo meme was partly funny to Farfa because he knew the original onion article. But it wouldn't be right for someone else to insist to him that the context is irrelevant and that the meme is objectively less funny because they don't get it. Like, I don't know about the NBA at all. I didn't get it. But I wouldn't assume it isn't funny to those who know the context. I just assume it's not for me. I save my scorn for memes which I get and *still* think are $h!t.
@@snes90 Calling it a stretch was also funny when it's just one word swapped out of a previously existing meme, and one more current than the 20+ year old Onion article
Farfa will talk about how played out a joke is, and then make the most unbelievably played out joke I’ve ever heard. The “Boku no--add random name of different anime” is like 2008 tier humor. Can we get someone like cimooo to do the meme review, it would probably be less cringe somehow
Well, Farfa you see the kaiju/mikanko meme was actually comedy gold. The message of the meme is that the girl in the picture is the mikanko card and is happy whilst the boy who represents a kaiju is sad because his purpose is to be gifted to the opponent and get punched over and over again. The girl at the start says that they looked so happy together and that they were in a really good relationship which in fact is the opposite of what is happening because the boy that represents a kaiju isn't happy as we can see in the image. This meme is from an anime which in fact is one of the best animes of all time becaue on tomatometer it has a 60% audience favor. So you see farfa, you are factually wrong and you are just very VERY unfunny. Imagine how much work the user had to put in the meme to find the meme template in the first place.
Dude its ok if you don't enjoy my Mikanko/Kaiju meme, but why tell me I should feel bad about it :( Kinda rude. I tried to make you smile I didn't edit that comment, I just predicted you were going to read it
I don't know if it is intentional or not but on the second look it is just get better. For those who don't know the guy named Kurou is an immortal. He have one other power that is basically future sight. Basically how he fight is that he get brutally murdered over and over again until he see the future where he win. And in the context with Mikanko itself is that the girl named Kotoko is the strategies. So she is the one that make him die everytime by making him a sandbag. And this is the post that I make which surely no one asked for.
You shouldn’t take things like that personally. Farfa is being exaggerative for the purpose of being entertaining. Obviously it’s just a meme. The stakes are low and even if a meme is bad (not saying it is or isn’t) you shouldn’t feel personal shame for making it. Sorry you to this so hard. I hope you have a good day 🙂
Honestly same. It got pretty better the second time I saw it@@NeoAnkara Personally it doesn't even need the context from the anime. Good job @HolyGiraffeMapleStory
Went back to when Farfa first scrolled to the comments and the Farfa comment was still there. It's even funnier to think that he predicted Farfa to do that
Kinda messed up Farfa takes the comments about his sense of humor on these uploads personally enough that he feels the need to give a sarcastic preemptive response to them, but then he directly responds to the Mikanko guy celebrating to tell them to feel bad about their sense of humor. Doesn't seem right to me.
I know what you mean but it’s not as comparable since he’s being mad for a different reason, he’s just “toxic” cause explaining why MDM memes are good is pretentious in his opinion (especially how the one commenter explained them). If he got defensive about bathmech than it would be more hypocritical. But these are honestly just memes its not like he’s putting someone on blast live
@@txkyoaes5743 I think it's pretty comparable, I've seen him reply to comments on other videos criticizing his understanding of certain jokes and clearly not take them kindly, which is fine, but I do think he sets himself up for the "wow how did he not get this it's so obvious" comments and joke explanations by going on his rants about why something is or isn't funny--he's just inviting that sort of discussion when he does that. I think it's a good thing he largely owns some of the odder things he likes/does like bathmech and the squirrel/rabbit thing, but it is undercut by him trying to seriously spot analyze why something is definitively not funny just because he didn't like it or, yes, didn't get it. But yes it's a minor thing overall; I don't think any less of him for saying something harsh about someone's reddit meme. I just think he's letting comments get to him more than he should if he's going to continue with making actual (or at least half-serious) criticisms of card game simulator memes, of all things. If he was serious about the constructive criticism review, I think that might have a better comment turnout.
@@Gantann yeah, I see what you mean ig I was saying comparable cause I thought you meant he was being hypocritical, but I do agree with everything your saying especially when it comes to over-analyzing the memes. It’s not hypocritical but it’s definitely inconsistent, when peeps judges it makes sense because he knows what he likes and is consistent. after he understands the meme’s full context he will still hate it without bias. Farfa will laugh at the worst most random meme ever and then ignore the context of a meme while calling it bad (although the nba meme kinda ass) which is just his personality and it’s not necessary to change to appeal to people but I do think him being more open-minded, could be beneficial. even if he doesn’t it isn’t detrimental cause he’s actually mature although he acts crazy on stream (like when he talked to coder about DLE) and peeps made it normalized to tell MDM users to FTK themselves 😭😭
@@txkyoaes5743 I was specifically avoiding calling him hypocritical because that sounds waaaaay too severe for a meme review video, but inconsistent, yeah, that's a good way to put it. Even in just this video I think he's being contradictory with what he approves and doesn't and why; I genuinely think it would be better for him if he just kept it to simple "I don't like this because"s or even directly admitting he doesn't get the context of an image or the joke itself instead of going all in on combating the very idea he may just be missing something that could give someone else who is more informed a chuckle (as we see with the NBA one). I'm not asking him to be nice and stop saying mean things about the redditors' memes, but I do think just fully owning up to his own tastes being subjective would save himself some headaches from the comments. And yeah the contrast between tablet kid Farfa and adult conversation Farfa is unreal lol. I'm often not a fan of his antics in various videos (Magical Hats comes to mind), but I understand that's kind of his brand. I do enjoy his more thoughtful videos reacting to certain content including the Rarran thing and his followup discussion with him--maybe the problem is he's letting that more analytical side of him leak out in these reviews and when it gets pushback he takes it more personally? idk I'm no therapist.
@@Gantann yeah I don’t really have a crazy understanding on mental health either, I’m not sure if it’s a yugioh thing or what because I can be the same way and start breaking down why I love or hate something even if it’s a one minute song. I personally think it’s kind of a content thing, not sure when he started the reviews but I can see peeps/LVK being a reason he feels the need to talk more (especially if you don’t want 30 second meme review). Like when I started watching video essays and music reviews those styles of talking about a topic kind of leak into how I talk when discussing music, games and movies.
Someone should make a meme like 'streamer guy in a mirror match:' Farfa is on the pic while revieving the memes pointing at the camera and says: 'wood tier'
@@eddieozil21 cool, this is Yugioh fans. We had to have tournament legislation changes to make sure we washed our asses before going to a public place. You think we are that into sports, let alone BASKETBALL?
@@Sassaparilla that wasn’t the point i was trying to make. farfa mentioned being terminally online when he was talking about the meme, but even people who don’t follow anything about basketball were also seeing it.
Everytime he thinks something isnt funny he comes up with the most on the fly reason for why its not funny and then when he laughs at something the same reason he didnt laugh at something is the reason he laughed at something? everytime i watch farfa i just do not understand him
Farfa be like: RU-vid comment section will tell me how ignorant i am because i don't know the context behind it. Also this is a random image. Twitch chat literally explains the meme and tells him that its not a random image. Farfa: You are wrong. Yo farfa, stick to BA because clearly your boomer brain can't even distinguish the good memes from the bad ones. Worst thing is you are fueling the casual elitism with this kind of behaviour EVEN FOR THE GODDAMN MEMES. So if you dont like a meme just say its bad and move on, dont try explain why its bad like its your damn essay. Don't get the wrong idea, i like your content, i just dont like how ignorant you are. Like you are the type of guy that says X deck is trash because one of your friends said so and when the X deck becomes meta you can easily cop-out like "it wasn't me, it was someone else".
2:02 i don't even think yugi really played a dark magician deck he was just kinda there for most of the series. I think the most synergistic part of his deck was like battery man or gadget.
The picture from One Piece is between episode 400 and 500. The dead guy is Luffy’s sworn brother and we’re currently in the 1000s. Who complains about spoilers for the best saga in the story only has him-/herself to blame. Let’s do a quick calculation, shall we? OP’s episodes get released weekly. There are ca. 52 weeks in a year. 500/52 is almost exactly 10. IT HAS BEEN 10 FUCKING YEARS and OP is one of the most popular series out there!
Farfa's chat when he calls out memes for being unfunny overused: "Kekw so true lmao" Farfa's chat when he makes an unfunny overused joke about One Piece being super long: "Kekw so true lmao"
OMG OMG the PAUL WALKER BANLIST MEME ... LMAO I swear I couldnt hold my laugh , only because I CA>NT BELIEVE someone created/downloaded this shit and then shared it :D :D no wayy
I'll never get how someone who goes so hard into explaining MEME BAD can laugh at such bland stuff. But it remains fun to watch despite it all so he must be doing SOMETHING right.
I mean tbh 9:35 MD or mainly Assault dragon has made me hate Black Wings alot. Not very fun to lose 2100 LP per card played when they can consistently get out 3 of those and a negate, and that's just on board
That anime screenshot for the mikankaiju me. Is in/spectre about a girl who is a detective for supernatural creatures. It had potential but got really bad. In a 12 episide season it soent about 5 episodes watching the protagonist sit at a computer on reddit and write bad fanfiction about how a crime could have occured. I stopped watching at episode 11. It got a second season.
I thought the Kaiju one was funny becuase the dude looked liked he’d been drained which brought to mind Mikanko having sex with Kaiju until Kaiju got the dehydrated face and carrying them around like they were arm candy to be used (I hope Mikanko aren’t kids, I haven’t payed close enough attention to them to notice).
Okay I know last video i talked about the effort the lab art had and we should appreciate the art/artists but nah, nah we don't need to appreciate that dinomorphia comic. it was literally just repurposed artwork found on the internet that someone else had made. OP should not be appreciated for "effort" because they're not an artist. they're worse; a redditor
joke's on farfa. the one piece anime, if anything, becomes _more_ unwatchable the further in you go. not less (this is only specifically about toei's anime adaption. the manga's even more of a banger than when it started. and it started very well, at that)
