The Gospel of Luke says Joanna was one of the women who went to the tomb, so it makes sense that The Chosen would include her throughout the rest of the series. It's Luke 24:10

She was there throughout the Passion, including the Crucifixion. I’m still waiting for Susanna, though. It’s such a shame we haven’t seen her yet, she’s actually mentioned in the Gospels as a female disciple, so I miss her 😢

I was there during the filming last week and we named the fake donkey Shmule!!! The options were that, Nicodonkus or Donk the Baptist (because it's just the head haha!)

They did thomas dirty with the wedding angle (lose of fiance). He just comes across as a bitter man for that reason. I hope he gets a Peter redemption at the end

I think it’s part of Kafni’s group because of their “hats” and there is a skinny man that was with Kafni’s group just off the side going out of screen of the spitting scene. Plus it would explain why Thomas is in disguise. I wasn’t able to get to the theaters for season 4 but these videos won’t ruin it..I have my Bible for reference lol.

I have a question about the last episode of season 4, in the first episode Mary of Madeline is the same girl that's pretty much with the group the entire time, so why was it Mary lazarus's sister that was washing Jesus's feet? She wasn't that type of woman, she didn't live in the dirty lifestyle beforehand. So I'm kind of confused on why everything so mixed up in the chosen from what it is in the Bible

There are many Marys in the Life of Christ; Mary, his mother; Mary Magdalene and Mary the sister of Lazurus and Martha. Others may weigh and help us, but I don't think that Mary the sister of Lazurus is Mary Magdalene

i think a lot of the palm fronds that are picked are fake because i have one of those palm trees in my front yard and at the base of each frond are foot long vicious spikes. one has gone through my left arm trying to trim back the fronds. . and everyone is just holding them. somebody is there another type of palm without these huge stickers???

They shaved them ahead of time, I think most of them were real, but some may have been fake yeah. All the actual palm trees are fake on set, made of metal and fake palm fronds.

@@TheChosenSleuth they look way too uniform in leaf shape. i cut twelve recently for my church for palm sunday and that was quite a safety effort. fake ones don't fade out and get all wilty like real ones do. either.
