Thematically, this is where all the previous yeehaw builds converged into a super yeehaw and I love it. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought of gambler’s dodge as a key piece of the build.
For sure! I needed the first prismatic yeehaw to be this convergence. It wouldn't have felt right otherwise. But now that we got our "super yeehaw" :], we can branch out into some other combos in the future
I rescind all apologies. This is what I meant to say :P In all honesty, I don't post any video/build until it reaches a certain level of fun for me. I just know several folks were waiting on this video specifically :]
This is my first Prismatic Yeehaw, but it will not be my last. This one combines all the "colors", what two colors would you like to see most on a future yeehaw build?
@langying a fire and ice build would be fun. :] For a good portion of the campaign, my yeehaw used mostly stasis and solar abilities with the exception of Stylish Executioner.
These are always so fun, Luckys' were the first exotic I got in D2 and the Yeehaw builds have made me fall in love with them all over again. Set 'em up...
I love it when the last word actually surprises me. There have been multiple occasions when i pulled out my big iron and blasted some big enemy back to hell, and everytime that happens I say "Big Yeehaw Damage" out loud. Keep up the good work, partner! (also could you try and make a "big iron" build for titan as well?)
@@PopeIvanThe11th It really is a lot of fun. I am looking at potential builds for it atm, but for warlock since they don't have a yeehaw build from me yet. Then probably another titan one lol
Yeehaw cowboys unite. My Void LP build carried me through GM lost sectors and Onslaught last season and I wanted to share a few of my thoughts after testing & experimenting with a similar prismatic LP setup to the one you shared here. I typically use my special weapon for ad clear and primary HC for boss and orange bar deletion so I'm primarily using Warden's Law & grav lance with a heavy void/strand machine gun. The below suggestions reflect this. First of all this build is fantastic in all levels of content. I think it shines in a team but there may be a few adjustments we can make for Solo players (like myself) to cruise through higher-level content. For me, combination blow and arc in general is the weakest link for solo players in more difficult content. Fun ad control sure, but less effective against barrier champs sniping from across map. You can lean into strand with sceptre to create more tangles for grapple/explosions/sever (damage reduction) and to generate a ton of melee and grenade energy with Facet of Balance and Impact Induction mods. If you're not running a pulse rifle in the special slot consider Facet of Bravery, proced by grapple, for unraveling rounds paired with strand heavy of choice. OR Lean into stasis with Withering Blade(s) and the new Bold Endings heavy burst stasis HC along with grav lance/buried bloodline and again a strand heavy of choice with slice (I'm rocking a marcato-45, underrated world drop). The same principles apply with grenade/melee regen but we will utilize our strand heavy with slice for tangle creation and unraveling rounds. After invis Withering Blade melee weakens opponent which synergizes with Void Hegemony artifact perk - Void special will apply more damage to weakened combatants. Along with Facet of Ruin the artifact synergies include Creeping Chill, killing slowed or frozen combatants with your bold endings has a bigger explosion and slows surrounding enemies. Especially effective against bosses frozen in super or transendence grenade. I haven't had as much time on this build but it has a lot of potential. I've left out some details so not to write a full novel but both builds will give you great ad clear, boss damage, handles all three champs and has that much needed fun factor. Hope this helps some of my fellow solo guardians.
I actually agree on swapping out Combo Blow and going for Withering Blades. That's what I wanted to do but I also wanted this build to feel like a combination of all the ones before it. I really appreciate your response, it is extremely helpful :] I like you
I am so glad I found this, I love lucky pants and last word (overshadowed by malfeasance) I've never been able to make it work.... however I'm also sad that I only found you now
It's never too late! I'm glad you found me :] I have a whole playlist with one for each subclass. This one is actually me trying to combine all the previous ones into a single build.
Me too, most of the campaign I used Stylish Executioner and Ascension. With Withering Blades and the Swarm Grenade. I don't usually like Swarm but they build up prismatic quickly.
@realaveragegamer3053 I haven't been able to put down my Indebted Kindness ever since I got it. I am always a fan of anything with Voltshot lol (and either range if you are doing legendary campaign). I was using Path of Least Resistance before I got my sidearm.
Yeehaw is FUN and that makes it my favorite style. I don't have the new expansion yet, but my favorite yeehaw is Stasis and Solar. I'm trying to get good with Void.
@ChanceRandom couldn't agree more :] No rush on TFS, it's an awesome expansion but it's not going any where. Maybe I will another yeehaw or two by then :]
I’m loving everything about this build and have been running a hogepoge of your arc version of this build for a few weeks, but I can’t for the life of me get my hands on the lucky pants. Foetracer is a good substitute for now to buff my damage after doing my dodge melee loop (savathun never thought they’d catch my damn hands before a full yeehaw cylinder), but I feel like the pants would make the build tie together much better and can’t get any.
I swapped into this build to escape from the liars handshake loops, so im trying threaded spike with swarm grenades as a replacement for the combi-blow and grapple melee abilities. So far i think it's working quite well, Ruin boosts the Ignitions triggered by Swarm Grenade, Spike triggers Dawn and Blessing from range, Awakening actually creates Tangles from the Threaded Spike, thus letting you spread Sever while still making Tangles, even without the use of GrappleMelee to Unravel targets. Also, with Scatter being Solar, it creates Firesprites which give grenade energy, thus close-loop feeding into itself. Being able to re-grab Threaded Spike also keeps it above 50% charge at all times so even if you arent close enough to enemies to Dodge for melee back it's still on a short cooldown. Finally, thanks to Threaded Spike spreading Sever, even the Yeehaw kills are triggering the "killing with elemental debuff" keyphrase on the Gunpowder Gamble and Stylish Executioner aspects. The only issue would be that other than the blink, there isn't any arc damage in play, breaking away from the "all elements" yeehaw build.. which i 'fixed' by running forbearence to round it out... HOWEVER, i do feel that it's really fun otherwise (and can probably be further improved with different fragments) If anyone would like a simple change to the setup to step away from the Combi-Blow+Dodge loop that we're so used to, I highly recommend this small tweak. (Sorry for the rant, if anyone has suggestions to improve more please do share :) )
Thank you so much for this write-up! I hope it has helped some others :] I am a big fan of Swarm Grenade and actually ran that through the entire campaign paired with Withering Blade. I really like the utilization of Sever by going with Threaded Spike instead. I think Forbearance replacing Blink is ay-okay lol, I was kinda doing similar with my Indebted Kindness. I love Combination Blow but it doesn't feel nearly as potent without Jolt added to it (Lethal Current), but I had to keep it due to the constraints I gave myself when building this particular yeehaw.
Dude this is the best thing I’ve ever seen. 1. It uses my favourite gun. Last word. 2. It prioritises the stats I was already prioritising anyway 3. It uses strand grapple which is my favourite thing in the game and when I take it off I find myself throwing it into the air 4. It’s literally insane Also one more thing: Please tell me what armour you are using I need that drip
1 - yeehaw! 2 - nice when that happens, ain't it? 3 - I am like that with Combination Blow, but the Arc subclass version with Jolt and Blind. Always find myself dodging and punching and then confused about why I didn't get my dodge back 4 - 🥰 Also, one more thing: Shader - Magical Transformation (from Festival of the Lost, I believe) Helm - Thunderhead Mask Arms - Deimosborn Grips Chest - Techeun's Regalia Vest Legs - Lucky Pants (Default Ornament) Cloak - TM-EARP Custom Cloaked Stetson
I play titan main but wasn't digging the initial setup. I'm looking forward to your prismatics for titan since I don't have a lot of time to figure builds out myself (or the brain space to figure out how they work best).
Yep I'm becoming a cow boy this season No Hunter build has entertained me this season but this oml im becoming a darn gun slinging sharp shooting cowboy
@Manbuns mine is set up with these stats: Mobility- 30 Resilience - 100 Recovery - 60 Discipline - 100 Intellect - 60 Strength - 20 Prioritized in this order: Res > Dis > Rec > Int > Mob/Str If you feel squishy or want a little more survive-ability, I would shift some points from Intellect into Recovery.
Awesome vid partner, that solar yee-haw build had become my favorite way to play the game. Btw do you have any idea for a Dead Man's Tail build? I know it's more useful in pvp but I'm looking for a way to use it on pve. Have a nice day!
That solar yeehaw was a lot fun, I am glad you've enjoyed it! :] I am currently working on a DMT build for warlock. So far, I enjoy it in PvP (as expected lol) but I am still exploring PvE setups. I have been using Ophidian Aspect, but I am going to play around with Chromatic Fire some as well.
My go to before I got the sidearm was a Path of Least Resistance with Voltshot and Adaptive Munitions. But if you don't have that then any Voltshot weapon that you like will be fine. Or even Incandescent weapons. I added something with Voltshot so I could get more Jolt into the build but as long as it is a weapon that applies some sort of elemental debuff then the build will still function more or less the same. :]
I used it because I was trying to add some Jolt into the build since I can't have it on my Combo Blow like pure Arc. That said, Jolt isn't crucial so Aberrant Action can certainly be used in it's place. I would go with Heal Clip/Incandescent or Beacon Rounds/Incandescent, personally.
Silkstrike is a good one! I wanted to make sure I incorporated a piece of all my previous builds, but in future ones there is a high chance I will choose Silkstrike also
Oh my lord this is the build i have inappropriate dreams about. You think I can use winters shroud aspect for invis in the dodge/melee cycle? Also can I use the new solar rocket sidearm with incandescent instead of volt shot rocket sidearm?
Both of those changes will work out great! :] I chose the Voltshot sidearm because I couldn't add Jolt to the dodge/melee loop like I can on Arc. This build is 5 previous builds combined into one as best as I could. :] I'm glad you liked it!
@@1986danden My kids are out of school so it's been hard for me to make videos recently. But this is what I have been using recently. I run it with an Assassin-Coyote class item. But if you don't have the class item I would go with Assassin's Cowl if you want better survive-ability. Otherwise, go with Sixth Coyote for more zaps and 'splosions! lol DIM link: dim.gg/tfzugny/Assassin-Coyote
Just wondering…. Could I use IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3?? Haven’t gotten a good roll on the indebted Kindness, and trust me, I know how good that thing can be.. but for past time, would the ikelos work????
Crimson, Malfeasance, and Warden’s Law with Demo/Vorpal are more ideal for pure dps. But there’s one thing about them that is different; They ain’t The Last Word
Im a bit late to this video, since I was sucked in the combo blow explosion meta because I got a Caliban/Syntho roll on a cloak and I like explosions a lot. But now I have returned to my rightful place. One day I just put the Last Word back on during Onslaught with my Lucky pants and had a Ludwig The Holy Blade moment.. I was like: “Ah, you were at my side all along. My true mentor. My guiding Word.”
Ludwig The Holy Blade 🥰 "My guiding Word." Explosions, you say? Have you seen my "Explode Your Explosions" titan build?? lol Actually, I think I made two of them, one solar and one void.
For this one: Helm - Thunderhead Mask Arms - Deimosborn Grips Chest - Techeun's Regalia Vest Legs - Lucky Pants default ornament Class - TM-Earp Custom Cloaked Stetson Shader - Magical Transformation (obtained during Festival of the Lost)
It took a while for it to drop for me, but then I got it quickly on my other characters. It drops in Spire of the Watcher, just in case you didn't know where to get it.
