This is my very favorite song, 轮回. The closest English translation is reincarnation. I am not a native English speaker, but my understanding is that reincarnation is about individuals. However, 轮回 in Chinese refers to the reincarnation of all lives.

Hi Joe, amazing video as ever! I'm no expert but I think the flute sound you heard is from "Xiao", which is a vertical end-blown flute. It has such a unique sound and carries so much emotion. Maybe in the next video you'd already be a master at that lol!

He used an instrument called Xiao (萧) instead of Di (flute笛), flute you play it horizontally, has a brighter more crisp sound, while xiao you play it vertically, it’s has a more muted airy sound, that sounds like someone weeping, so it often used in a sad tune.

As you like guitar solo so much, I recommend you to listen the early songs of beyond, such as "旧日的足迹".

The background music drowns out the voices and the melody.

The lyrics are not actually translated 100% correct. Only 50%... And the english lyrics are translated from Chiense version. So the lyrics sounds like a some wise man saying some wise words. But actually not that. It's more like "Because of this this that We should do this we should do that".
