After find the fish it quickly became apparent they were Hungry, making this meat run successfull!
Some quality table fish and a couple highly desirable species leaves the stoke levels high!

that kahawai was keen as hell. that current was ripping like hell at the entrance close call with the buoy. that trev was a beast. looked fun on the softbait gear

Haha yea that kahawai bit off more than he could chew. Was stoked on the PB trev, was almost 6months since I'd caught one

Nope I never set the hook when using a circle hook. I just come tight and let the hook set itself. I have much more success fishing this way with circle hooks

@@NomadicKayakFishing I use octopus hooks, let them run on free spool, then set it when ready. Guess its different for everyone.

Cheers bro, cool your getting into it! Best tip I can give you is to just have fun with it, you'll learn so much just from being out there. Start small with inshore fishing and work your way up. Goodluck bro. If you've got any specific questions I'm happy to help
