In this video I will demonstrate how to knit the fishnet stitch which is worked over 2 stitches.
Fishnet stitch on Right side of work is abbreviated as FNSR.
Fishnet stitch on Wrong side of work is abbreviated as FNSW.
Cast on an odd number of stitches and work as follows:
Row 1: K2, FNSR repeat across row to last stitch, K1.
Row 2: P2, FNSW repeat across row to last stitch, P1.
This is worked as follows:
Right side of work: Knit 2 stitches, then work a knit in-between 2 stitches without dropping the stitch off the left needle, then continue by knitting those 2 stitches together through the back loop. Repeat across to the last stitch and work a knit1.
Wrong side of work: Purl 2 stitches, then work a purl in-between 2 stitches without dropping the stitch off the left needle, then continue by purling those 2 stitches together. Repeat across to the last stitch and work a purl 1.
