Yeah its tough to find a lot of faults in the newer models - such good design and execution - i almost wish they'd make a few bad ones so people didn't think I was just a fan boy
I’m 5’5, 170lbs(77kg). I can consider myself a short, shifty Asian small guard, but a big guard i think due to my weight( but athletic Build) I love to blow by defenders with fast and nimble footwork, fade aways, fast pull up jumpshots. I’ve have the pg6, anta shockwave 5(reg version). I’m considering to buy a fission 8 in “Latte” colorway, i love brown. Due to my playing style description and my condition, the shoes i got(i’ve been carefully choosing after watching more than 20 times of you review videos). Do you think it’ll suit me? And i also play majority outdoor on tennis court, sometimes concrete. Thanh you, keep making videos man, i’ve at least watched over 15-20 times each of your videos. ❤❤❤
Way of Wade Li-ning & Anta have just been hitting home run after home run, too loaded & bottom loaded carbon fiber shank with that cushion? At that price? And they’ve managed to sneak some premium materials on some of the color ways. 👌
Any idea what the crossover sizing would be for women? The women’s Vball shoes game SUCKS! So I’m looking to try men’s basketball shoes and the women’s shoe game in general is terrible. I want to try these but I’m scared of sizing.
I bought the Fission 8's in the panda colorway. I am a US size 12 4E wide, But I bought a size 13. I have played in these 3 times a week since May 31st. No foot cramps, no heal pain or ball of foot pain, Very bouncy shoe. Super Grippy. I love playing in these and recommend them to Bigger players and Wide footers. Only thing i did was replace the insole with a copper fit heavy duty insole. I have a large rotation of shoes and this is my favorite so far.
I'm still enjoying playing with my Puma TRC Blaze Court because of your teardown review. It's still performs amazing, so bouncy and grips beastly in any court condition. More power to you Doc!
I love most of the wow shoes. I REALLY wish you could try them on some where. My feet are picky I don't wanna order 4 shoes and have to send back 3. Love these videos and the advancement of the tests. Only shoe reviewer I watch now.
THANKS MAN !!!! I am from Colombia and It is hard to buy good quality shoes because you can't buy them in real stores, so everything is online and this reviews help me to decide to buy the Fission 8. I am a PG who mainly play outdoor and ofcourse the weather in Medellin is quite hot, so I will write you my opinion when it arrive here.
Aww man, I just got my 808 V2’s now you’ve got me wanting a pair of these! Love it, appreciate the thorough reviews you’ve had a hugely positive impact on my basketball shoe purchasing 💪🏾🏀
I was looking hard at these but was scandalized by the cheap price tbqh. I was thinking they must be using cheap materials that won't last long or something. So I held off and go the eAll City 11s Caution and 2 Pair of WOW10s and WOW10Lows. Now I'm thinking I should've gotten a pair. Maybe I sill when more color ways come out even though I love this color way specifically in this type of shoe.
Did not expect these to perform so well! I think I might want to earn for this especially on how similar it is to WoW10 while still having a really low price. This over the KD14s?
DOC! i have such a hard time choosing which one should i buy fisssion 8 or all city 12 im 5.10 a wing i need something fast speedy and really bouncy 🙏 thanks
I'n having a hard time choosing the Fission 8 between the 808 2 v2, the new 808 3 ultra. I always play outdoor as pg or sg cuz there ain't indoor gym around. Do you guys have any advice, thanks!
Great review Zach. Do you think these might be a good show for playing squash? A ton of lateral movements. But I'm needing something with a better shock absorption than regular squash shoes.
Very interesting, it’s like the reverse of what Nike did with the Lebron 20 using boom instead of zoom but going bottom loaded in the forefoot and top loaded in the heel, which I think may actually function better opposed to bottom loaded heel top forefoot.
Might be expensive but the heat and cooling test would be so dope and better (I think) with thermal vision. U can see where most heat gets trapped, hot and cool spots, ventilation etc
The 808 2 are great shoes but not bouncy….808 3 ultra seems to improve on that with the carbon fiber shank and plastic stabilizer on the removable boom midsole…waiting for mine to come
Currently breaking in a pair I went TTS on with an E width foot, reeally wishing I'd gone a .5 size up. Not trying to undermine, just giving some anecdotal experience. FYI Way of Wade will only accept unworn returns with tags.
Hello Doc. I’ve been watching you for quite a while and buying basketball shoes based on your reviews. Right now i can only buy a pair, which one would you recommend, Wade Fission 8 or Wade All city 11? I am a guard around 79kgs in weight. Thank you.
Hey Zach can you write a letter to Way of Wade ( And Ling Ni to be safe ) and tell them to keep this shoe exactly This versions build the EXACT same going forward with future ideas.. Please tell them not to mess up a great performance made basketball shoe... PLEASE ZACH 🙏🙏
Any recommendations for shoelace replacement? The laces on mine tore on day 1 of use and are now close to ripping entirely after a month of use. Side note: the shoelace tore from the shoe eyelet, not from anything else I'm 99% positive. Used for volleyball only as well.
Do these have a similiar traction in indoors as the 808 and All City, given it is thought for outdoors? Fission 8 is the one I like the most but as it is an "outdoors" shoe and Im going to be playing mostly indoors (rubberized/wood) it makes me think about it twice... Smone help me please
Hi Zach, huge fan. I am trying to decide between fission 8, all city 11 v2, lebron nxxt gen or lebron 20. I play outdoors but just 3 hr a week. The thing is that if i went only by score this would take the win for sure, but i really dont really see how this are better than the other more expensive models. For reference i am 6'0, 175 and my favorite shoes are the Son of Flash. Also, having the sof, are this kinda of repeating the same model, given the cusion. Thx so much have a great black friday :)
Great review as always Dr Zach 💪🏿🧠💯 Hopefully you could get the Li-Ning Bad Five 3 Ultra, excellent for any ground in or outside 💥🔥☄️ Hes precessor was very darn good BF2, this new BF3 Ultra are even better....
Love the shoes. My son and I both have them. One minor issue is the topmost inner metal rivet (for the shoelace) keeps bending out, resulting in cutting/slicing the opposite leg (near inside of calf). --- Anybody else experience this?
Iam just new on your channel, so this shoes are they probably one of the best to play out side ??, and man i cry when you cut the shoe😢😢, jaja great your channel i love the way that you show the results
Worth adding an insole to these for jump performance? I don't feel quite as springy in these as the wow 10 but I don't want to wear those outside like these ones haha
Hi, is ankle support okay or is it better to have shoes with mid cut to avoid ankle roll? Or if u have recomended for good for ankle support. Appreciate your expert advice thanks
Might seem like a weird request here Zack, but I’d like to see a video on the underarmour project rock. Lifting, training, and short distance running style shoe. Would love to see it cut in half.
I bought 1 pair played in them 3 times outdoor and ordered 2 more, thats how good they r,i think these r better to go with than the wow 10 cause its half the price,it has great ankle support to surprisingly n the cushion is great
Hi @footdoctorzack! I bought these shoes based on your recommendation for outdoor pickleball. I’ve only had them for about 3 weeks and I’ve already worn down the outside edge completely smooth. The courts I play on are just painted asphalt and I’m not a super dragger. Did I get a defective pair? Or is this the durability you are expecting?
Foot Doctor Zach! My wife is married to her mizunos for indoor volleyball and she wants to branch out for her next pair. Lateral support, grip and bounce are important to her. Any rec’s!?
