The Cattlemen revolver aka Colt Single Action Army revolver should have its stats adjusted. It was the top tier revolver of the games time period and far more powerful than the navy revolver.
yeah but gamedesign reasons wont allow it a 45 long colt the 36 caliber of the navy revolver is like a low pressure 38 special in today ballistics and the 45 lc is still made and powerful and can be custom loaded to be as poerful as like a 357 magnum
Love the LaMat and the Navy revolvers for the stats, but I’ve been using the cattleman more recently and I love the fast fire rate when hip firing and that fast reload speed. Makes you feel like a badass gunslinger !
I have been using the cattleman a lot more recently since the new variant was added. I want to like it more because of its historical signifigance, and also how iconic it is.
@@Dare_To_Game the new variant is awesome! Wish you could make the barrel shorter tho, that longer barrel looks so awkward on the cattleman haha, and I agree. Wish the damage was a little bit higher too but the fire rate and reload speed are amazing. Enjoy your content dude, hope you have a good one ! 🤠🤠
I would do the semi-auto pistol next. I’m trying to be as objective as possible in saying that because I’m not a fan of most pistols. Even in the real world I’m much more into revolvers, but that said I’ve been writing for a long time, and the first thing that good writers consider before they set pen to paper is, how do I speak to the audience I want to attract? That said I think as a business decision the semi-auto pistol video is probably gonna get more views.
I think, counting the votes from this video, as well as the comments for the semi auto pistol on the last one, i think it wins decisively, and i will likely do it next.
R* really needs to fix the cattleman. It should be the most powerful handgun in the game. It took .45 colt, which took 40 grains of black powder under a 255 grain bullet. Shooting that out of a 7.5in barrel yeilds around 1050 fps, and 624 ft-lbs of pressure. Which is crazy, thats more than 9mm +p, .45acp, and some 357 mag. The Schofield shouldnt be more powerful than it, because it only took aroumd 28 grains of black powder. The navy and lemat shouldnt be as powerful. The navy took a .36 caliber ball with around 15-21 grains of black powder. The lemat took a 41-42 caliber ball and had around 25 grains of black powder. The pistols shouldnt be as strong, especially the volcanic. When in real the life the volcanic wasnt popular due to how weak it was.
I would be in favor of Rockstar rebalancing the revolvers in this game to more accurately reflect the historical background of each weapon. Arguably, the Cattleman should be the best balanced weapon. It should have the highest damage, probably the best accuracy, and a much faster reload speed than the Navy or the Lemat. But, the double action should also be better. The revolver its based off of was not particularly known to be inaccurate.
@@Dare_To_Game yeah the Schofield and double action should be quicker to reload, but weaker than the cattleman. The double action and navy should do around the same damage. The lemat more than them. With the cattleman being the most powerful, but having a slower reload. Also i wouldnt say most accurate. Those guns usually shot high, so unless you could fix the sights it shouldn't be the most accurate
Please do the Schofield revolver next. I love the revolvers and think they are more cowboy looking than a semi automatic pistol. I do hope you show us pimped out Schofield revolvers next. I am subscribed and eagerly waiting for your next video. Thanks.
Before I would just gold plate all of my guns.. But after watching this video, I realised how flexible some of the designs can be! Great video. Keep it up!
If it was realistic the cattleman would be the ultimate revolver in the game, colt single action is the ultimate revolver design, an evolution of all the other revolvers in the game, wich all came before it.
Out of all the revolvers in the game, the Cattleman should certainly perform the best as far as accuracy and damage go, for sure. It did have a decently low reload speed, but it would still be much faster than the navy, or the Lemat.
I love the cattleman and was looking for fun designs to swap up my usual styles. I really liked your bugle one and appreciate you sharing, def my main look now!
I use the Navy Blue design for all my guns in story mode but instead of nickel I'll use silver or gold with pearl grips and eagle carvings with either the baroque or art noveau engravings on my sidearms. In Online both of my cattlemen are of the Whitchurch variant.
I obviously want you to do all the weapons. And the schofield is one of my favorite handguns in the game, but I vote for the semi auto next. Do the schofield after that.

I went with this design, based on Sean's revolver. All black revolver with a silver frame. Dark Walnut wide grain grip with eagle carving. Use silver Victorian engraving.
I use the cattleman revolver in RDO and I use short barrel mesquite Handel no engraving and all black steal. I call it the cavalry if they had a horse engraving I would use it but they don't.
All of these are really nice. My main carry is a Cattleman with a silver plated barrel and frame with the sights being gold along with the trigger, cylinder, and hammer, with a pearl eagle carved grip and blued steel Victorian engravings. I call it "The Medallion"

It may be weird but i played with that single action colt entire game use other guns only when i must, but it's digression not talking 'bout design. I just love how that it looks with that hero's pearl grip and long barrel (not only for stats, just looks better :P) All metal elements silver with gold Victorian engraving. Just perfect for my cannonic high honor boah Arthur. As John i change one of them (I always use two revolvers or pistols) for his own colt, even if it looks like trash still is perfect for smoe half brain hillbilly as John was (don't hate me I like John much but he's kinda holasso and idiot, and just love Arthur, can't change that. Just see too much him in my own self even if we talk 'bout relathionship with his/mine love of life yeah another digression :P) P.S Sorry for my pretty shity english I'm from Poland and I'm even more stupid than John before eating half his brain by wolfs xD P.P.S Sorry to for soooooo long coment pretty much of something diffrent than topic of video. Even if i try write something short i just can't. If talk about that i'd propably end after some like nine words :D
yeah the black beauty is identicle to my, *original* idea of a cool looking revolver. just recently i decided to go with black grips to fit the assasain feel of my outfit.
My custom cattleman’s Black steel on frame, cylinder and barrel Silver for trigger, sight and hammer Silver baroque engravings Improved rifling Long barrels Improved sights Ironwood grips Puma carvings Maple wood or any beige wood
It seems like way more people are in favor of the semi auto next. But don't worry, either the next one i do will be the schofield, or the one after that, wither way it won't be long.
I know it sounds wierd, but can you please make a design video for the Double Action Revolver? 😅 I know that the Colt 1892 is not the best, but probably one of the most beautiful guns in Red Dead Redemption 2
I think, counting the votes from this video, as well as the comments for the semi auto pistol on the last one, i think it wins decisively, and i will likely do it next.
Personally I do black beauty with nickle in lays and a buck on the pearl grips as my main, with my off hand being a reverse where instead of it being blacken steel with nickle in lays it's now nickle with blacken steel in lays and ebony grips with usually a wild cat on it.
My cattleman has a default grip, long barrel, enhanced rifling, blackened steel barrel, cylinder, and hammer, and brass frame and a victorian engraving.

These designs should be mostly achievable in single player. The Navy revolver doesn't exist in single player, but all the other guns do, and the customization options are pretty much identical.
@@Dare_To_Game alright thank you very much! It's online so I thought it had more engraving options, upgrade options, grip options, etc. So thanks for confirming this!
I mean, its certainly not a traditional "western" gun, but it exists in some western media, and was invented prior to the turn of the century, so it really depends on what your definition of what "western" means.
