What i love about Kuro is that they're not afraid to say " Ok, yeah you're right it wasn't as good as we thought it would. You want us to change it? sure. " Which is something really rare in most of the current videogames studios.

Kuro is always cooking that's why they are my favourite studio. They always listen to the player community which is always essential and they are also so generous with rewards.

Oh wow have been avoiding getting spoiled too much, but holy the gap between the (old) voice + the character & the actual, is just frightening xD

His new VA slay's. I love it. 👏 It compleatly changed the perspective of how I see him now. Like a reverse sweep. Huge improvement! Before I wasn't interested but now I am.

When I heard his voice in the trailer, I was like “Oh! Lina’s gonna love this!”. Glad you liked the new voice. I like his new voice too. Like you said, no hate to the other VA. This one just fits him better. Also, Pellek did an amazing job on the song.

The old VA is great with the job but the difference is way too far even to compare it with how Lingyang look I miss Awu too but I still hoping there will be furry characters in the future Also hope the same we could see more characters in casual or different outfit it somehow refreshing seeing Lingyang in a very simple farm clothes

oh my gosh i agree please we need more skins especially for the MC, I have played quite a few gacha games and I'm so surprise that character driven story gotcha don't have more skins to capitalized on. but! knowing Kuro with their game PGR i am really keeping my hopes up that we will get a lot of skins and really good ones to if they decide to go the same rout as PGR. also love his new voice now im fully on board on trying to get him!

Awu was so cuuuute >~< But even though I'm sour about this change after finishing Lingyang's questline I see that the new look for this character is fits his story and themes way more. But I still want them to maybe revisit Awu's design for future character.

i just did his story quest the other night, and hearing this, i'm SO GLAD they changed his voice he's my fav and i wanna adopt him as a little brother, but i know if he had his original voice, i would have loathed him bdsfjkndsfs only Encore (for me) can get away with that amount of a cutesy voice lol

Omg I haven't heard his old voice before! The voice is so jarring coming out of his mouth, lol. Before this, i had only heard his new one in the trailer. But like you said, it's definitely a case of bad voice direction rather than bad voice actor, lol. It's like giving a toddler character an old man voice. It just doesn't work no matter how good the va is. I am so glad they changed it because I've loved Lingyang ever since I saw his design. As someone who always uses the english dub if its available, I couldn't stand it if they gave a character with such an awesome design and a cool-looking playstyle a voice as unfitting as that. Would've done him so dirty.

I usually play anime style games with Japanese voice over, so I never expected him to sound like this in the initial version of EN voice over :D It became so much better when they changed it, why they used the first one at all is beyond me!

i got him as my first 5* and i still think his voice is a little off but im glad it wasn't the previous one, i probably would've went insane wondering why he sounds like that

idk what his canon age is supposed to be, but playing through his quest in the current game i get the impression hes supposed to be an adult? he doesnt really even look like a kid to me, just like a really short anime-styled adult. no idea why they thought the tiny little kid voice was a good idea originally

haven't tried cbt, but.. here's a little thing. What if his cbt voice was kinda just pitched up? Not sure the reason, but it sounds like that's the same va, just voicelines are pitched up.

His voice acting on the games final release did bug me off tho. Ngl it gave me more “reading my lines” than someone who’s actually channeling a character

Once this game is added to console, he’s going to be the first person im pulling for

his new english voice matches the tone of his chinese voice (Chinese voice player here)

Only gripe I have left is that his redesign no longer makes it obvious that he's a mutated animal, not a mutated human like other Resonators; but overall I'm excited for his character.

I lost my 50/50 to Lingyang but at after testing his combat, I can't say I'm disappointed anymore. Plus, a great character story wise, too

I mean the voice is good but not for a teenage type we could use that for a Mister Root or pet like hawk or other characters that are not humanoid I wish we could have a non humanoid playable characters someday

Honestly as someone who tends to play Devil's Advocate and also White Knights I was about to defend Lings proto voice-- Till I really heard it.. and yes as a VA I could definitely not have been interested if they kept that voice so I'm really happy they changed the direction change the direction. Also when it come to OwO I sincerely hope they don't scrap the entire model. Maybe they could be Lings twin brother, owo what just happened to have more of the animalistic features compared to his brother plus it would also give ling family connections as well as expand upon Lings story. I can't say I'd go out of my way for him but if I got him I wouldn't complain because he is really adorable. Overall I'm just really excited for the release
