Phasing or not, Barry was evidently much faster. The entire race felt like Wally was giving it his all while Barry wasn't even trying, and even so, he reached the wall first, it was all probably to flex his phasing ability and at the same time wanting Wally to learn the same.

@@whitehammer1674 Barry was holding back his speed, its evident because Barry got to the wall first and could have went up it instead of phasing and still won against Wally.
In the comics Wally West is a few quadrillions of times faster than Barry. All the fastest feats from the flash are Wally's. For ex in this episode Barry phased through the matter in the building. In the comics Wally is the first one to do that, Barry never did. Wally also developed the Infinite mass Punch, he has limitless speed. Barry is slow in comparison if you compare their feats.
Joshua Runt well if you notice in the comic timeline. Barry is faster than Wally. Plus Wally didn’t become faster than Barry until he was dead already. So technically Barry is faster than Wally.
Cisco's proposition intrigued me, so I decided to look up how race odds work, just to figure out what the payouts were. Cisco says "5:1 odds Barry takes down Wally". I assume that means Wally's odds are 5:1 and Barry's are 1:5 (i.e. Barry is the safer bet). Iris bet $20.00 on Barry, so her payout would be $24.00 ($4.00 profit). Caitlyn bet $80.00 on Barry, so she would get $96.00 ($16.00 profit). And H.R bet $200.00 on Wally, so he lost his money. Therefore, after paying everyone out, Cisco walked away with a cool $180.00 thanks to H.R... if he payed up, that is.
Everyone is amazed by flash and Barry speed .. But did anyone one noticed that how fast their computer and it's data connection is .. i mean it literally can track both of them while running superfast...🤯
Savitar was a time remnant of barry so technically if barry decided to keep savitar's suit rather than disintegrate it he would probably be extremely fast and for those that don't know a speedsters time remnant is always slower than the original who made it.

But you still gotta admit he did look cool when he phased through it and turnt red as for him being the fastest speedster he might be that but that hasn't helped him much against devoe/thinker in season 4 I'm just thinking if he was wearing savitar's suit he might of beaten season 4s villain by now
@@ok-vr7by in a earlier episode Caitlin showed zoom, rf and Barry were running at similar speeds but their running strides were different making them faster. So usian bolt genetically made for running and has good technique, with speedster power would win
@@tendergiraffe5453 Not what i meant. I meant him being 'made' to run in no way influences them. The speed force is a cosmic force(essentially magic). It is motion incarnate. So its not really the body doing anything and more the connection to the speed force. The deeper the spiritual connection the faster they run. I can give it too you that technique may influence their speed but very slightly.

The writers messed up lol. Barry went at like mach 13.2 in season 2 against zoom. Wally is yet to reach mach 3. How were they neck and neck? (Keep in mind that I'm not talking about comics) edit: alright Barry may have gone easy on him idk
Well, there is something that you forgot, the tachyon device, the tachyon device quatruples the speed of Barry, and that's why Barry managed to reach mach 13,2, but Barry would be faster anyways since 13,2÷4 is 3,3, so he'd still be faster and he did go pity on him, but, if he didnt go pity, he wouldnt have obliterated him, he would just go a bit faster
Jesse became as fast as Barry in a short time too. I think speedsters who don't spend long time in the speedforce move around the same speed more or less
@Clark Wilson I'm talking about their general speed... The speedsters move at the same speed more or less (As in the speedster chase kinda speed)... If they are trying then ya Barry will leave them in the dust... But yaa at that point Wally was training much more than Barry so I'm not surprised that they are moving at the same speed

Wally shouldn't be faster. If Barry generates the speed force he should be the fastest. I know Wally has more feats but it is still unclear who's faster. In the show Barry is faster which is a great thing.
The way Barry EFFORTLESSLY pulls ahead of Wally so he can see him phase through the wall, you get the impression Barry was TOYING with him the whole time. He could have beaten him easily. But he wanted Wally to see him phasing.
No, Wly had to slow down because he was approaching a Wall, Barry didn't slow down because he was going through it, Wally was faster than Barry that is why he asked Wally to save Iris from Savitar

I agree that flash beats superman in the comics, but here, he doesn't, we can't really compare the two anyway because we haven't seen any feats from superman yet, besides beating the shit out of the rest of the justice league, including their flash. PLus, what do you think this flash could do to even hurt superman?
