Also my theory for cobalt blue, is that what if when Eddie got sucked into the wormhole, the time machine had cobalt blue in it and got sucked in too. What if Eddie’s consciousness fused with the stone and got spit out in 2049. When he gets out the stone his mind can be fractured and blame Barry for everything. His mind can be sooo messed up that he thinks Barry is his evil brother who killed him and took his wife which was iris at the time. Anyways y’all keep doing you. Love y’all

Another thing to note is the number of times the book The Count of Monte Cristo has appeared in the Arrowverse: Oliver read it in prison, Lex was reading it during crisis, and Wellsobard was reading it in his cell. The story is about a man who returns home after being wronged and takes his revenge on those who wronged him.

This was a great finale tbh! This season was solid it was the best since season 3 Imo, hyped for next season, The fight scene were cool af. Would be dope if they did Cobalt Blue next season.

I decided to finally finish off season 8 to catch up for the next final season and…yeah. They had something going with Matt coming back as Eobard…but then the finale came in and the story dropped once again.

Tasha had a very good point about Consumers vs Creators, DC drops the ball constantly, like she said they focus on $$$ and not thoughtful, relatable stories and movies because (and this goes back to her earlier point) they know butts will be in movie seats to see anything they churn out and it's sad. So let me get this straight….they killed Frost and had a entire episode dedicated to that character’s death S8E14-“Funeral for a Friend” just to allude to bringing back Killer Frost (at the end S8E20 ) in season 9. To what end? the actress didn’t want to play two character’s anymore.? They could’ve always did storyline that required a merging of the alter ego in the first place!

I came back to watch y’all’s video again and I couldn’t agree more with trey. They have to do thawnes origins. Now with only 13 episodes I’m nervous that they won’t do it. They should’ve already done his origins last seasons. They could’ve knocked out the filler episodes and did Thawnes origins. Would’ve fit in perfect considering most of the season was about thawne. And the fact that they thought that it was gonna be the last season and didn’t do that makes me mad haha. They could’ve saved thawne finding out that Barry is the flash and him and Barry running back to the past and fighting for the series finale. Easy.

Damn this finale was great some mid cgi and I think thawne was acting kinda off but overall I like how they teased the new villain and I cant wait to see a good killer frost storyline Cecile power upgrade is annoying as hell tho I don’t like anyone but the OG’a at this point iris has gotten better I can admit that. Meena was meh after thawne died she just felt like this lingering character, not bad but I was less into her character when thawne died.

As always I agree. I grew up on DC and Batman. Good real talk. I love Iris’s character and I did miss her this season. Let me say this, I am a black woman and I appreciated the character’s growth and the actor herself (Candice) is good at her job. To me, she brings top tier acting with what she’s given every episode (Grant too). Yes this is a superhero show and not a romance but Iris’s presence and value was set so high in the other seasons which made season 7 and really 8 weird to me. They set everything up for 5/6 seasons where Barry’s character and Iris’ character were really necessary (Grant and Candice have natural chemistry) to each other and hopefully they can now keep the cool superhero stuff without subtracting her character so much. I love the show and I like BOTH the superhero stuff and Barry’s real-life-balance stuff with Iris. In my opinion, Candice Patton is an amazing actor and to diminish her part was not a good idea. Just like Jesse L Martin. He’s amazing and barely got any screen time. Makes no sense.

This was so good I watched it live. Meena doing the horror movie a screen. Our boy Barry hella pissed. I love every aspect of Barry Allen/The Flash but pissed off Barry/Flash is my favorite. He gets so angry that he finds new ways to use his powers. My boy Damian came back! Helping Iris remember she's bad ass and her and Barry are connected in ways Fake Wells/RF and the Negative SF can't comprehend. No honor amongst Negative SF and Fake Wells/RF with them not giving a damn about the other. I agree with Tasha about Barry had a right to feel and want revenge because of them hurting Iris,his wife and their mother. The speed force storm and Fake Wells looking like Black Flash/Reverse Flash (Daniel West version) killing folks then that fight between Positive Flash and Negative Black Flash was all epic! That plane scene, heck the entire fight had me screaming and cheering for Barry. Jordan had me cracking up when Bart said who's his tailor line.. This was a great season finale. Finally Barry saved the city and the day old for a season finale. And I'm guessing the reason we didn't see/Frost/Caitlin is just in case Danielle doesn't comeback and she's looking different because she'll be played by a different person. And I wonder if the new negative flash could be Colbalt Blue? The Speed Force Storm..And to the Iris/Candice haters her SL this episode was a big suck it! Our girl made sure to get back to her husband and her life. And Barry's her lightning rod just like she's his. Iris is bad ass! Go Candice! Great work Damian helping her. Great episode and season finale.👏🏿
