As far as I can remember, Batman '89 was the very first movie I went to the theaters to watch and be entertained (and terrified) by Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson's performance. I was so thankful to my parents to for taking me into a world that's at least 7 years before the suggested age to watch that kind of "Burton-esque" content. The later movies directed by Joel Schumacher were very neon coloured and comedically goofy, which I still enjoyed at the time in my early teens. Can't wait for this Flash movie, despite the shenanigans Ezra Miller has committed in recent years.

I've already seen all of Ben Affleck's Batman, but I'll totally watch Steph's first time reactions to whichever ones are uploaded. I enjoyed all of them, but haven't seen any reactions to them yet. Definitely checking this out when it arrives.

I think to get a better understanding of the plot and premise of this film, I would highly recommend the animated adaptation of *The Flashpoint Paradox (2013)* film as it is such a good story about the sacrifices Barry has to make and how we need to accept the things we can't change, even when we can change them, and it's also one of DC's best-animated films that this film is taking inspiration from.

Yep!! do watch Batman v Superman "Ultimate Edition" Ultimate Edition has around 25/30 min extra which helps to understand plot/story better & also do watch keeping it in mind that the movie is about darkest Batman post Robin death and His redemption arc.

My main concern with the movie at this point is: How are they gonna make the story work without the Reverse Flash? If we’re doing a story where Barry goes back in time to save his mother, Reverse Flash has to be involved. Yet I haven’t seen anyone casted for him.

Look like this is DCEU version of Flashpoint, a transition from DCEU to James Gunn's DCU vision. It takes inspiration from Flashpoint event in The Flash comics. Although it is different from Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox animated movie & Flashpoint event in the CW The Flash series, the element they use still the same from original comics. Where the Flash cause DC timeline shamble & universal chaos.

The vibe that I'm getting from The Flash is that Man of Steel, BVS (ultimate edition), Zack Snyder's Justice League (not the theatrical one - Zack's is the one where Barry learns how to run back in time) and Keaton's Batman 89 & Batman Returns are probably the most required viewing. And I would 100% watch Steph to react to any and/or all of those

I’m all for giving Ezra Miller a chance. People deserve a second chance. Keep in mind, at one point Robert Downey Jr. once had such a problem with drugs and alcohol that it would lead to a 3 year prison sentence in 1999. He served one year. He took his second chance and bounced back and eventually gave us the Iron Man we know today. That’s MCU, I know but that’s not the point. I’m cheering for Ezra and I hope he can get it together

Barry's mom death is the fixed point in universe Whenever he try to alter it, it breaks the timeline This movie seems to be a closer adaptation to DC animated flashpoint: paradox with few plus and minus Flashpoint paradox is shown in various projects and soo far i loved the one from animated movie, in that one we saw what happened to batman, superman and even other heroes and ending was soooooooo great that I can't even imagine others try to create that same emotion as in the animated series Can't wait to see this one and see what we got here

I was in 😮 when I saw Zod, and The BATMAN!!!. I really really recommend you read The Flashpoint collection. If you prefer please before you watch this get Jaby, Steph, and Achara and pleas watch the animated version of The Flashpoint Paradox. I loved the movie a lot, the comic is really good too and it’s expanded more, but I recommend watching it on HBO Max or whatever. Please!!!

Really only going to watch it for Keaton, and a little to see what Sasha Calle's Supergirl will be like. Affleck's Batman is just Ben Affleck in a Batman suit and Ezra Miller out of the suit does not make me think of the character at all - even when he say's he's Barry Allen. Then again, it's not meant to be the OG Justice League universe, so whatever. It's also really nice to see _that_ Batplane again.

The Flash going back in time is not what killed his mom.....his mom was murdered when he was a child and he goes back in time to save her, to stop her from being murdered and trying to change the events is what causes all the problems.

I’m excited for this. I just hope this is Ezra’s last time as Flash.

My theory: Superman, WW, cyborg, batman will be wiped out of existence at the end of this movie, as a result of flashpoint paradox. And similar consequences will be seen at the end of Aquaman 2 & shazam 2, thus paving way for complete/partial reeboot of DCU. Although, for that ezra miller will have to stay and be part of DC in future as well

I was pretty amazed they are acknowledging the "Snyderverse" era with referencing the Kryptonian invasion from Man of Steel, Batfleck is there etc, it gets a lot of shit (deservedly) but I'm glad some sort of continuity is in place if this is going to be a Flashpoint style rebooting. And as much as I am sick of Batman, like I hate the character now, I hate the fan boys who constantly suck this character off to where the character has been stagnant since the DC modern age era of comics of the late 70's and several reboots since then (and I actually loved Batman in the early 2000's in the JLA comics that pretty much started the whole "prep time, can take out every member of the Justice League or any other hero" over blown Swiss army knife character we still see today, even bleeding over into the DCAU, movies and whatnot). I'm also incredibly tired of the nostalgia pandering, the Rescue Rangers and Ghostbusters Afterlife movies ruined it for me, and is why I didn't enjoy Spider-Man No Way Home, I'm exhausted of both Batman and nostalgia in general now. Having said that though, I will admit to getting a teeny bit excited seeing Michael Keaton in the Batsuit again with the Danny Elfman score, that's the Batman I grew up with, that inspired years of the Animated series, Kevin Conroy voiced interpretation, even with the weird CG-I flipping and landing ok his feet from very high up in the air, I'm in, you got me curious movie. And anytime I can watch Barry fuck up the timeline again, I'm interested, I hope this movie lives up to the hype. Oh hey Seth Suh-braaaaaaah
