Dc live action movies get too much unnecessary hate for no reason. Even if you don't like them personally the movies aren't bad. At the very least they're entertaining. At least dc shows these heroes/villians use their powers & abilities and actually be their counterparts while having fun doing it compared to Marvel where it looks like a chore to them.

The Flash coming out on June 16 almost 10 years after Man of Steel (June 14, 2013) which is the exact moment the DCEU started makes it a full circle moment with General Zod's return. This is amazing!

Honestly I think having a singular universe is kinda bad because it limits what stories can be told cause they have to follow the blueprint left by others instead of making their own thing. Not even the comics follow a single threaded plot which is why I’m glad they’re doing elseworlds

I did not expect them to return to MoS and Zod. It just makes me think of what other events could be happening in the movie without the main heroes to stop them. Stuff like Ares, Enchantress, Starro, Steppenwolf, Orm, etc. Admittedly it may only be Zod cuz the events of MoS REALLY brought to light all the super powered people of the world. But imagine if the DCEU went on longer before they did a Flashpoint movie. The amount of callbacks and changes to events would be wild

So from what I remember, in the animated version Barry didn't meet his other self because when he went back in time to save his mom, Barry created a whole new timeline with his mom being alive and him not being the flash, hence the butterfly affect, where with the movie it seems they might be going with the theory that Marvel went with when it comes to timelines and Barry instead created a whole new different timeline, with his mother being alive, but his timeline still exist, hence the two Barry's in the movie. I'm interested to see them take this route on how the timeline is affected and of course Michael Keaton coming back as well. 😍

One thing to be noted: Flash , Barry Allen will be the only Character having the memory on Snyderverse heroes and when he will reset time he will be in James Gunn DCU universe. He will have those everything that he knew is gone and now he will have to live in this univ. So, both universe will be connected but Snyderverse will be over and DCU will be start in the end of this Movie. Its going to be huge

you shoud try go see it in theatres, DC is getting back on its feet but the fans also need to do their bit to make DC the money for the future projects. DC isn't like the MCU, MCU movies still have pact theatres for bad movies, while DC have empty theatres for even there good movies.

There’s a theory that the other Barry in the trailer is Reverse-Flash because when he’s first shown he’s wearing yellow headphones and a yellow jacket and there’s the line, “you stole my face”. It’s all just theory but still interesting to think about.

I understand why a single consecutive DCCU timeline would be cool, but to be fair, the earliest versions of DC's TV shows and movies were almost always stand-alone timelines and just look at how good those were. DC hasn't had nearly as much experience as Marvel with singular timelines in which there are a bunch of TV shows and movies intertwining with each other.

Yep... James gunn has said that he wants to remake the entire series with new younger actors... Also robert patersons batman is its own seperate entity. The stuff with james gunn will be the true cannon timeline/universe.
