With the Flash movie finally releasing years after Ezra Miller was first cast and with the Flash TV show starring fan favorite Grant Gustin coming to a close, there’s no better time to take a closer look at the powers and abilities of each flash to determine who would win in a furious battle of speed and power.
As with all these VC battle videos, I will only be referencing stories that are canon to the specific versions of the characters we’re using. For the DCEU Flash, I will be using Zack Snyder’s Justice League as it was the confirmed canon version of the character in his most recent outing.

You forgot to mention that Barry is as strong (lifting strength) as Despero who was calculated to have kryptonian level strength by Caitlin; in the Armageddon finale Barry lifts a car with ease when Despero struggles to push in down on him, later Barry overpowers despero. Barry also has amazing combat feats with keeping up in combat with Oliver (both were out for blood) in the Elsewords finale and taking down 3 Argus trained guards in season 3 when he and captain cold stole the dominator tech. The trope of Barry losing to regular humans haven’t really been shown since season 7, he’s been really consistent in season 8 and 9, and if he wanted to, he easily could take out powerhouses as shown in his fight with despero.

" keeping up in combat with Oliver" dude the first time those two fight Barry just sits there as Oliver's leg goes over his head in slow mo its easily one of the worst fights on any of the dc shows and that's saying something because pretty much every time they do that dumb kick move on arrow and they do it a lot for some reason it almost always looks bad i mean there was one time where Black canary "kicked" a guy and sent him flying even tho the guy she was meant to be kicking was clearly like a arms reach away from where her foot was because of shit camera work like for real go and watch the episode it's real bad don't remember which episode it was but its one of the last 3 seasons tho

@@Ashadar_Resouley i thought the season 1 Flash fight was good and kinda resembled fights from injustice 2, the fight between The Flash (Oliver) and Green Arrow (Barry) in Elsewords was well choreographed, showing The Flash’s/Oliver (who is canonically our Barry) immense combat skill by keeping up with a Green Arrow/Barry who was out for blood, their combat is relative, no one won the fight.

The flash from the CW would win because there's one thing you forgot to mention that Barry Allen from the CW is the speed force's main runner . As in the series it is shown that he is earth one's speedster the main speedster to the whole multiverse he even gave the speed force a rebirth meaning that he is so connected to the speed force that no speedster could give it birth again instead of him due to him being their avatar . The tv show ALWAYS got his speed wrong, when they stated a speed. A guy only going mach 2, isn't running into and out of a black hole. (Notice you didn't mention TV Barry pulling that off.) He was constantly being nerfed, to slow him down for his enemies, or so he would need help from his team. TV Barry also created the Speed Force.

You got it wwrong, the season he runs in and out of a black hole was season 6, he ran at mach 2 at season 1. He's casually time travelled and becomes 40-50k times the speed of light as told in this video. He was much faster in season 6 and the show has said quite a lot of times that barry is wayy faster than the actual speed of light. You are right that he did create the speed force.

So yes it can, unless you're saying that this Barry has worse regeneration And if I'm not wrong flash healed broken bone in few hours in his pilot episode. And broken bone is much much harder to heal/regen compared to muscles and flesh

I think if we make both of them very consistent and to their max, Arrowverse Flash will win every time. With his speed thinking, speed saber, speed mirage, phasing, light platforms and speed force child. He is too strong for DCEU flash.

@@Darkverse11 Wrong every speedster in DC could obtain flash time. Flashtime is different from speed perception it's an ability you must obtain not something you already have. That's why Barry can share his flashtime with others temporarily it's a different ability. Either way even if Ezra's flash did have flashtime it wouldn't be nearly as strong as Grant's flash

@@Darkverse11 Correct however in the context of the CW show flashtime is a completely different ability. In the show he has always had slowed perception since episode 1 but flashtime is an ability he uses beyond his speed. They make a clear distinction on when he's moving really fast and when he's using flashtime. Even his first time using "flashtime" in season 4 he was surprised at his ability. In the comics it's the same but in the show they treat it as something different

Yes i dropped off the flash cw show around s5 or 6 but for those seasons speedsters casually travelled through time at will. The only things that prevented them from doing it every time was lack of speed force absorbtion or some mumbo jumbo (for reverse flash in s1 after he killed Barry's mom) or not wanting to create flashpoint events from changing the past (for most of the good guys). Barry goes back in time like to his mom's death multiple times and does so at will. The only other thing u could bring up that hampers cw speedsters from casually time traveling is the black flash that hunts them when they do so but if i remember correctly killer frost killed him. Frankly cw barry has immesurable speed as do many of the cw speedsters.

The problem with this is that in universe traveling thru time is not as impressive as it would be normally (as Barry even when going thru time gets blitzed by a sub lightspeed again) But this could also be applicable to DCEU as going “light speed” is their way of immeasurable (and we’ve seen slower characters within the DCEU react to light)

CW Flash wins imo, Ezra has the potential but I don't think he is experienced enough yet. Grant is very inconsistent which is his one issue. Enter Flashtime, him outrunning a nuke. Being able to react to the speedforce, and overpowering the stillforce.

Wow I can’t really comment on speed and what not, but CW flash definitely has the experience advantage. they may have gotten their powers around the same time, but CW flash definitely has the battle experience advantage, fighting at least seven different speedsters, with fighting reverse flash who knows how many times. Also, his mastery of abilities is way greater than dceu flash

The cw flash is winning this one. He can gain access to 3 forces that helped stop a big bang so universal if he needed to. Not only did he stop a big bang but could also harm the 3 forces too and while slightly weakened. He could also move while time was stopped and blitz the still force who should be comparable to the speed force which exist outside the multiverse. He is the avater of the speed force. And any numbers said by any characters in flash or the arrowverse may not be true. At one point they say that a lightning bolt is 9 billion joules and after 1 megaton which is a huge difference. He could also do high hypersonic feat easily in s1 but still his fastest is mach 2. After season 7, there isn't much more inconsistent or anti feats.

This is incorrect. Barry reversed time on two separate occasions and his daughter who’s slower than him did it over 50 times. He has also actually gone through time meeting past versions of himself and other characters multiple times so I don’t really know what Tylearned is talking about. He’s inconsistent but at his best is just as fast as DCEU Flash with greater experience and versatility. Don’t understand how they’re being given equal experience either. He’s had far more experience fixing his time travelling mistakes and has fought alongside and against must more powerful beings including other Forces. Overall, it’s a very close fight and no one is blitzing the other.

I feel people have forgotten or haven't even watched The CW Flash. He's consistently going up and down because of how much they kept putting the Speed Force in danger, low power, Barry depowered, speed force dampened, Negative Speed Force, afraid, sharing too much power, artifacts etc. There was always something dampening him or ahead of him. This would happen multiple times a season in various ways. They just said it outright that it's hard to write for The Flash and maintain what makes him a mindblowing character. Someone who could literally finish the entire episode before half a second. That and they had a cast of actors to make use of. Him losing connection, speed force dying, speed stolen episodes always made me sigh due to how much they used it to slow him down. Overall a good show, but some overused devices.

i think CW flash intentionally varies his speed for the situation and sometimes gets it wrong. Where as DCEU flash goes fast and changes how he moves people. When cw flash is facing a speedster, he beats them, and i dont think this will be any different. If he is facing DCEU flash, he will increase his speed

CW Flash's biggest feat is outspeeding Reverse Flash. In season 8 Reverse Flash says he could circle the Earth in five seconds. In 18th episode of season 7 Reverse Flash's speed is like standing still to CW Flash. We know that in the season 7 finale speedforce onlocked his powers. In this case he could even get infinite speed. CW Flash's speed is unsure so there should be more than one conclusion in the end.

@@KeyIssues in most shows i‘d say yes, but as i said, take a look at Madvocates „the flash is insufferably inconsistent“ and u will see what i mean… i enjoyed s2 and especially s1 a lot, still there are an outrageous amount of plotholes or shitty written villains that shouldn’t have been an issue for a guy running fast enough to break the sound barrier from the get-go… all characters besides most of the villains were written and portrayed pretty well tho, so thats prolly what made it so enjoyable, thats true…

CW flash can break the speed curve at will as well. He just doesn't want to create a new "Flashpoint". By doing that the first time he lost his mom again, his best friend brother died and his other friend had an entirely different child. Also I didn't mention all the new events he got over time because of it. Dceu flash can't be faster if that's your reasoning.

It's really hard to compare because no matter what case you make for CW Flash, if he's more powerful or not, it doesn't stick either way. Because the writing in that show is terribly inconsistent. Dude can make a second seem like half a day, is pretty much a speed force grand wizard at this point, and yet he gets beating by thugs and can't win without peptalks.

Cw flash, I mean by the end end of the series other speedsters look like they're in slow motion from flash's point of view and whenever he's running, not even trying to push himself. Everything looks Frozen. Hell we did see him dodge one of the attacks that was basically travelling at the speed of light indicating that he is fasting the speed of light before getting hit by the second attack and that speed calculation that Gideon gave was probably based on the fact that he was already weakened so that he couldn't move at his chopped speed when he was in his peak condition

Wow I didn't think I would find a video I hate and disagree with more than this. CW Flash literally had an episode called Flashpoint and it was a nuclear type bomb that went off and he stopped time and the other speedsters were being stopped and barry kept going and he did this in less than a picoseond he did it so quick . DCEU Flash is fast but not as smart, fast or as strong. Flash in cw is so creative he was able to run on lightning, they had to power him down during 9 seasons otherwise it wouldn't be intresting just like Smallville. I am saying this as a fact, CW flash stomps DCEU 10/10 times. He literally phases which dceu barry barely knows how.

You have to give Ezra's flash some slack cause Grant's flash was mentored and was taught most of the things he knows whiles Ezra learned by himself plus he made a suit by himself that is more protective and better looking than Grant's season 5-9 suit (in my opinion) and I'm sorry but he didn't have a team (before he joined the JL) to motivate him and say ''I believe in you, Barry'' every single episode to help hm go faster. So in experience I would say Ezra wins it cause Grant kinda got a ''starter pack'' with Wells.

Cw flash is far beyond light speed the cw just sucks at writing so they purposely nerf him so that villains that are far far below him can even stand a chance against him dceu flash and CW are using the same speed force plus he is the literal avatar of the speed force and the speed force literally favors him over any other speedster another ablity that the cw just completely disregard is the ability to take away other speedsters speed obviously because its too overpowered and he can go into flashtime which is powerful enough to make everyone stop including other speedsters
