The price does not seem too bad on this. I have been thinking about selling my CZ75 SP01 as I cannot easily get a red dot on it. I was thinking about a 2011 type pistole, but I will have to look into this one some more.
nice!!! swapping the magwell length is neat! that canik comparision is awesome man - definitely not marketing hype on it - love seeing the GSL Chilito out there!
As always, great video, Dustin! That 3-stage mushy trigger sounds like something one could adapt-to, but please tell me how short and brisk is the reset? THANKS!!
Im happy to see you try this gun out. I am a regular guy, but i loved this pistol so much I got a 2nd... with one caveat... both have the stage 1 + Stage 3/Combat trigger jobs from Rain6/Iron Horse + their custom ACRO cut running a lead & steel Pandora pb-3. It solves every complaint you had with the trigger & brings it into competion with the 2011 market. Defined wall, no over-travel, very short reset. I can't say good enough things about their work. I also ordered a DPM reduced recoil spring set for my second one, havent tried it yet but the gun is oversprung if your just using standard velocity/range ammo. Ps. The Iron Horse ACRO cut sits further back, with the Pandora having a 1/4th cowitness.
@@AB1138- Good to know. I already have the PB3 lead and steel optic in green. Is your trigger at the advertised 6 ish lb. I prefer a 4-5 pound trigger if possible.
@andershilmo1866 the factory acro cut doesn't work with the L&S PB3 iirc. You'd need the custom acro cut from Iron Horse. If you call them and ask for the stage 1 + Holy Grail Trigger then combined the trigger will be 4~ pounds
Love this gun. Shoots better than most in my lineup. Glock, SIG, CZ, etc. My new EDC. Also, get your hands on the new VENT suppressor from PTR. Awesome.
Tough to decide what is faster the gun or the best shooter in Texas. doesn't really matter because after your first shot your target will never hear the rest!
Hi Dustin, I was watching Top Guns a few hours ago, do you know of any reason how come Top Shot is no longer a show anymore? In addition, I might get stationed in Texas sometime, I hope to do a meet-and-greet and come shoot with you. Nice video too.
Pretty sure Hollywood is just gun shy and they don’t like anything that puts firearms in a positive light. And cool. But remember- Texas is far from Texas. I can be in Florida before I can be in El Paso.
OK. Remove the Talon grips and get a stipple job done. I personally like the Talon grips. They are easy to install, cheap and offer lots of very effective options.
Dustin, i'd be curious to see if that pistol shoots as flat as the Steyr L2-A2 MF. They are quite similar, that's a pistol I love and don't see much coverage of it.
@@TopShotDustin I belive yours was made in Germany but the design and headquarters is in Czech Republic... I just wanted to promote my country and smart people here when I had a chance 😆
