Nothing makes my day more than hoppin on the ole RU-vid and findin some Puddin ready to watch. Puddin, you and anyone else who reads this, I hope you and yours all have a great day.
Just came down from pressure washing the metal roof before I put a sealer on it... Sat down to eat my SAMMICH and just started watching this video... Now what a great lunch I'm having...!!!!
Gas pedal mount came up sweet. That raptor liner is the cats meow, I did my gasser floor trunk and under side of tilt nose in it. ( the kit of course), my wallet couldn't stomach 40 dollar rattle cans
For a more budget friendly spray can bed liner, the Rust-Oleum professional spray can bed liner does a pretty good job, for a less money per can. Love seeing the Mr. Mercer build. Keep up the amazing work!
Hey Pudd': Good job coating/finishing the floors on the '59 B100 IH P/U... Its all about the coatings that you use but it does look much better.... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone spray.... Cleveland, Ohio..... C;MON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Puddin' and family received my shirt and stickers the other day, super fast and good stuff, just wanted to say Thank you for all you do. Mr. Mercer looking pretty spiffy
Nice looking job you did there, This video even included a crack of the head. Some times you just crack me up with your antics. Keep up the great work,, see ya on Monday evening.
Please use a respirator when you use the 2 stage paint (or in this case bedliner). It has hardeners that can get into your nose, throat, and lungs and cause real problems.
"Back in the Day" (when Mr Merser was in his youth) service stations did detail cleaning on work trucks. They typically diluted roofing mastic with lots of diesel to dress up the brake, clutch, and accelerator pedals. Looked great, easy-to-make & use, leftovers were easy to use the following week (more diesel if needed to re-thin) and would look great next to your undercoated firewalls, kick panels, & rubber floor mats. Perfect when using a garden hose to wash out interior floors!!! .
One of my past jobs was working at Line-X doing prep work for all the spray-on bedliners and correct scuffing it up is correct thing to do 👌 we would scuff it with a special 3M bristle cup on a angle grinder, wipe it down with methanol, and then it was ready for liner spraying.
Looks good Puddin, and slick-50 guest appearance just topped this video off its now ready for a GRAMMY AWARD............................................Fort Worth,Tx
Hey Puddin’ that raptor in the can definitely does not go far. It took me 2 whole cans to coat the battery box on my dump truck. BUT, it sure is convenient. Great video man!
The floor came out really nice, you may not be pleased with it but I think you did an excellent job. Keep up the good work and the excellent videos 👍✌️🇺🇲
You might need a drill press at some point. You can get a three speed pretty nice one at Northern Harbor Tool Freight. No matter what, love the content.
Mr. Mercer must like all the TLC you are giving him. Floor look very good,. Like how you put the accelerator peddle in. Looking forward to seeing more on your project.
Love the way the floors turned out! I was thinking, for along the edges of the seat, you could just spray that with some flat black, to kinda tie it into the toe board. ( just a thought)
You know if you put a fan even onslow behind you and help keep the are flowing and reduce those headaches from using it lacquer cleaner. Also I noticed you did this before you took the things off the backyard bed of your truck. Just letting you know we're watching you 😉🤣 floorboards and kick panel looks great 👍
Great video getting it done with Puddin' and his masking machine Slick Fitee! Used a bunch of Raptor liner, finally broke down and bought a Velox bed liner gun and haven't looked back!
Just a suggestion, you could spray paint the dash a gray color and door panels to give it a spiffy look since its a shop truck. The head liner could have a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet glue to it just to look good. Shop truck, anything goes. I know that is NOT how you are supposed redo the inside, but new things can be tried.
Good content using products that can help out in a pinch and that also look good! Outstanding camera work and editing skills that compliment your talent in keeping the viewer totally entertained. Thanks for another great video!
Awesome Content, just Raptor lined an old military trailer after sand blast and prime. Had to use the gun, stuff is awesome when it is cured. Thanks for all the extras puddin
I love bed liner. I have used it on quite a few projects. Question, Have you ever used the sweet patina sauce on the inside of a project? I am curious as to how the inside of Mr. Mercers doors would look with a little sauce.
I'm in the middle of making a 4x6 lawnmower with a dump box. I'm putting 2 engines on her. One will drive the drive axles and the hydraulic pump. The other is for the grass cutting deck. Less drag on one 25 hp engine. Thought about in my head and started on it.
