I was one of the Disney ticket sellers on 192 for a while and there was so much going on that people had no idea was happening right in Disney’s backyard. We’d always say a movie needs to be made about this and the Florida Project was a good one for shedding some light on it. Sadly, there are many similar stories to it and some even worse that I saw myself
As one who lived in Kissimmee, the movie hurt me deep. It's insane to think such a lifestyle happens at a high tourist spot. Couldn't watch it after one time, just hurts.
I so agree, I remember growing up in St.Cloud and the Florida project reminds me of my childhood. Also I will never forget when you toured the Villa's years back.
I used to service the fire system at Mr. Quick, the fire extinguishers at the Magic Castle, Orange World, and the adjacent Futureworld motel. I was there for alot of the filming and was there when they set the condo on fire. It was going to be demolished anyway so they were allowed to have a controlled burn. What an experience it was . The movie is supposed to have a sequel soon. Thanks for the memories

Such a great movie, I had to revisit this video due to your helicopter ride the other day. I cried during this movie. So sad. I had to watch interviews of the little girl to make sure in my mind she was OKAY. lol
We're soon visiting Orlando from Sweden and just watched the movie the other day with our kids (9 and 12 yrs old). We totally loved it and it was a really good way to show them that there is an other world beyond the parks. Thanks to your vlog I could save these locations in our google maps and will definitelly visit some to relieve the movie. Might even tag Chris on the photos. Thank you for putting so much effort in this and I have like 2 dozens of your vlogs in my 'watch later' list.
This is one of my favorite movies and as an Orlando local I’ve struggled to find a lot of the filming locations you showed in this video. Thank you so much for posting this it’s great!
Yah! Comments are back on, I was missing being able to tell you how much I and your other fans appreciate you, Adam. Thanks for the laughter you bring! Have a wonderful day.
Whoa! That tidbit about wanting to film at Splendid China was super cool. I snuck in and explored it a few months before it got torn down completely and snapped 50+ pics. That would have been a perfect setting for a scene in this movie.
I don't know The Florida Project but after seeing this I want to look for it soon. This is a very cool video, great job Adam. And thank you Chris for taking the time to appear in this.
I wish my friends appreciated this movie as much as me . You’re right it’s not for everyone. I, like, Natalie have seen the movie at least a dozen times . I love it so much
Ok, these are comments 2 years late because I just watched the Florida Project (2023). You've talked about it so, I had to watch. I now love it because it hits so very close to home in many respects that there's not enough room to explain. I have an overall sad and tragic feeling about the girls who could just as easily be MY granddaughters who are at the same age. It's hard to watch but something everyone should see. This also reminds me of a piece I saw about Gambling Kids whose parents leave them in arcades while they spend all day gambling. It raises the question of the blurred lines of being a protective parent or just a bad parent. The movie's end doesn't fully answer that either.
Thanks for another great video! I think, and hope, we all learn something new from every experience you invite us to join. Your passion, effort and joy in what you film is evident and is appreciated. Hope the spring brings you, and us, some amazing opportunities!
Didn''t you saw the white markings above the bed in their room? Moony drawn something on the walls and they painted just that part over. Thats a great left over from the movie. Thats awesome, love to see that for myself but a bit expensive when travelling from the Netherlands..
OMG!! I drive 192 to and from work everyday for 30 years LoL and I did see the aftermath of the fire at the "condo" which were abandoned for years and thought hmm how did that happen and then much later realized it was for the movie and you reminded me of the Twisty Treat that was there and I didn't even realize they tore it down LoL that's how much I just want to get home when I drive down 192
Cool to retrace tracks like this! I did for a documentary on home Halloween haunted houses in Pennsylvania, and it was the best talking to the people. They loved that someone visited them also.
I watched the movie after Micah Meets World filming locations vlog. It is a good movie. Shows you the non-magical, but real view of outside the bubble. Loved the ending the most!!
This was 100% excellent made!☺️👍🏼 You really filmed everywhere & the producer was very kind as well. You must feel really good that you took the time recording this since this place now is white instead of purple (how sad). It was super interesting to see all these filming locations, very very good
I usually watch Adam while I am doing cardio...looking at the 50 minute video I see Adam wants me to double down today. Glad the comments are back on too, as they're one of several appealing aspects of this channel, all the positive vibes are awesome to read!
Also meant to say Adam, thank you for putting the comments back on, love reading them, and provided people mind their own business and don't poke their noses where they don't belong were back to normal x
Was a great movie, shining light on the disparity between the tourists in the area and many locally who struggle to survive in the Kissimmee area. This is unfortunately the truth for so many people in that stretch. Not everything is *Magical* on 192.
I use to live in Kissimmee off of Polynesian Isle blvd and I have to watch this movie cuz as I'm watching you I have so many memories. I even stayed at the magic castle in Room 323 which is so crazy I stayed there with my kids back in 2013. Thank you for doing this I will definitely watch the movie
I have not seen this movie yet. I am bad viewer. I am going to look it up and watch it. Thank you so much for getting me interested by showing the locations.
If it wasn't spring break i'd be heading to Disney right now. lol Anyone else having that kind of a day. I love seeing around kissimmeee/192...pretty sure i say this on every video. lol
Wow this video is amazing!! I’m planning to visit all the locations for this movie too and make a RU-vid video. How cool would it be to have him showing me around too! I will def tag him when I make it and when I post my pics to Instagram.
Great work on this filming location episode for The Florida Project! These filming location videos are some of the best work you put out, and to this day the Three's Company vlog is still my favorite!
I see your knowledge of the film impressed Chris , proving you really are a film nerd lol, and the other point Chris cannot climb trees lmao 😊 , thank you Adam and Natalie x
Have you been to Las Vegas would love to see some vlogs around there or near there stuff we don’t normally see or just in general Vegas style vlogs, love em keep them coming!
What would have been awesome (and maybe more producers could do it in future movies), but if they took a sharpie back when filming and wrote on the underside of the bathroom counter, table, inside the chest of drawers...any furniture etc... "Used in the film, The Florida Project, with the date of filming" and film when they do it. Just a thought, wouldn't be vandalism if they can't see it, lol
this is a long shot, anyone here knows where i can find the fallen tree, staying on the 192 over Christmas and we want to take pics of the different locations
ok after rewatching thedailywoo vidoe 3 times if i can find pioneer village i should be able to find the tree, on the other hand the initial part of thedailywoo video at what corner would the shopping cart pic be?
I do believe that Adam sent a stern message by turning off comments on his last 3 videos. He has comments turned on for this video (for now), so don’t screw it up, people.
