This was absolutely surreal and brought a tear to my eye. So many things I wish I had done with my dad before he passed. Adam, sir, you are doing it right.
I’m glad to see you went the distance with your Dad, such a special moment to have here... The “want to have a catch moment” at the end of the film gets my emotions going, every time... “People will come, Ray” .. and he was right. One of the greatest movies of all time,. One of my favorites.
I lost my Dad suddenly from a heart attack 2 years ago when I was 35 and watching this series of a road trip with your father is definitely heart warming and inspiring. I hope to do this with my son when he is much older because it would have been an amazing thing to do with my father.
Yeah I lost my dad I do have a kid and hope to have a road trip with him but maybe when he's much older I have went places with him but I've always wanted to do a road trip with him maybe one day
Adam, just wanna say I hope your conveying the droves of love and appreciation your dad is getting since the start of this journey to him, he’s all class and we all find him very enjoyable...I’ll like and share now while watching 👍👍👍
I agree. I think his camera angle may have been better than the shot from the front! ❤️. It gave me chills. This entire series is just SO special! I think “The Woo” will cherish these videos forever!
This is the perfect series. Father and Son reminiscing and revisiting the past with wonderful opportunities like this to make new memories together. Well done.
Today, 2 years ago my Dad passed. Seeing you sit with your Dad on the porch swing brought tears to my eyes. This series is awesome Adam...you will be happy you did all this.
Adam the Woo - You broke me!!!! The end of this vlog of you and your Dad playing catch just did me in. The last seven days have been amazing - is there a youtube award? You so surely deserve it for this series. Now that its been a week I have to say I cringe to hear that it may be coming to an end. Its my favorite all time reality show, can't wait to tune in every morning watching while I eat breakfast and get ready to start my day. I have to say this is the BEST thing you have ever done by far on your vlog. I hope you both extend your adventure - Our USA as you know has amazing things to do and see and I am sure you can learn more about your Dad's interests taking him to more places of his interest. My late grandfather used to cane chairs and when my Aunt came to visit I actually found a place in Asheville that teaches to cane chairs and is a mini museum - The look on her face was unforgettable. She was only 6 years older than me and sadly she passed a few years later at 54 suddenly but I have that memory of our little road trip. Your Dad was so enlightened with the tour of the FOD house that maybe you should take him back to Graceland to do that tour as well. Don't take your time for granted. Please have him say SHALL YOU? (I think you forgot to say it today?) and remember if you take him (Dad the Woo) we will watch =)
This was another amazing video. I lost my father 6 years ago to cancer and I would give anything to play catch with him one more time. I’m so glad you and your dad are doing this road trip. Cherish these times Adam and thank you for sharing them with us.
What a heartwarming video! This is an adventure you wont soon forget, and neither will we! You have inspired me and many others. How I wish I could have such special times with my own father. God bless!
Full disclosure… I haven’t even watch this video yet and I’m already sobbing. My dad passed away six years ago… And seeing this with you and your dad reminds me how precious that relationship is. How precious it was to me and how precious it always will be. I absolutely adore this series Adam
The title of this made me cry. One of my favorite movies. These moments are priceless with your Dad. I’m so glad you documented this for posterity of course. Thank you!!!
Having a catch with your dad.... is there anything better than that? My wife is pregnant with our first child, a boy.... and I can't wait to get him out there to have a catch. Job well done Adam, memories you'll remember forever with your pops.
I can't believe it , you got right on the Field. Nice going. this video is the Very Best.. Ever... i love it. i'm 73 now and i still play catch with my friends on Sat. we hit in Cages now. can't run, but we still can catch. you really made my day and year. this is the Best Video you ever did. Can't tell you how much this means to me. love it.
That is one of my absolute favorite movies ever. My dad, my son, and I have visited the Field of Dreams at least twice, but it was many years ago. It still looks the same except the gift shop is new. I'm glad they built it to look like a farm building, so it blends in.
i loved the Video you you and your dad playing catch. i went to Cooperstown NY to the BB Hall of Fame for the first time in 1987. it's there that i played catch with my dad for the first time. i've played ball for the Air Force and my dad saw me play back in 1968. In 1987 we played catch at Cooperstown . it was special. your very lucky to have this on film. i have mine on film too. Great video.
This whole video was epic especially the scene where you are your dad tossing the baseball back-and-forth with each other it melts my heart. I simply love your dad Adam he’s a real gem 💎
Dear Adam, Just want to thank you for documenting the humanity and basic goodness that makes OUR NATION great. In these times, many of us must think that decency and basic courtesy are a thing of the past. Your father showed and talked us through what is really important - love of family and simple acts of devotion. Thank-you for confirming that at our core, we are worthy of being here. Apologies to all for the schmaltziness, but I truly loved this series!!!!
I did this with my best friend a couple years back. When they announced the farm and all was going up for sale, we packed our bags that weekend and headed there. 13hr drive from NJ. And we hit up a Cubs game and a Cleveland game on the way home. Was the best road trip for 2 baseball fans. Something I’ll never forget.
Someone watching this video might be inspired to reconnect with family, call a parent, mend old misunderstandings, and find the connection they need. This video series is about much more than locations and personal recollections. It might be the start of some really important moments for some of your viewers. Well done! 👍🏼
My dad suffers from dementia...back about 50 years ago my daddy taught me how to pitch a softball and then coached my first softball team. The next year he did the same with my brother and he continued to coach my brothers team until they aged out of Khoury league baseball. My dad played baseball on teams throughout his youth and was even offered a scholarship to play baseball in college. Unfortunately it didn’t cover all the cost of collage and my grandparents were unable to pay the remaining costs so dad was unable to go to college. But his love for the game never died. What fun my brother and I inherited from my dad as we played softball and baseball through our youth! Oh, he loved the St Louis cardinals so much and he had a trip to see them with my brother and nephew when his dementia was beginning to become a little worse. So glad he had that moment! So important to have those special moments before it is too late. Adam, u will look back on this time with your dad in the years to come and it will be even more special than it is currently. God bless you and your family! Will we ever meet your sister??
I don't know if you realize how beautiful that part of you guys playing catch is. Pure, simple, beautiful heart of America. So soothing and renewing. ❤️
My Dad always entered sweepstakes for the price of a stamp, but never won. But in 2001, he won an all expense paid trip for two, to the 2002 Winter Olympics. We had the time of our lives that week, and made forever memories. He passed in 2017, at age 89, after a wonderful life. So smart of you to make this trip...we're all riding with ya...thank you for sharing!!
Wow. This time with your dad playing catch on this field of dreams field is so precious! It gave me tears and thank you for sharing this with us! Totally loved it.
What a great memory you will both have of this trip. My father passed away in 2018, and I would have loved to have done a trip like this with him. There will always be great memories of playing catch with him in the back yard, going to Orioles games with him, and the few times I got to umpire local Pony League games with him.
This Is Amazing, there is somethings you can't replace but I know for sure you can't replace life .. these vlogs with your dad will always be in our hearts and I thank you for sharing this sacred moments of your life with your Dad
Adam, I don't know which I enjoy more, the awesome trip down Memory Lane and you both enjoying new things together or just appreciating the easy rapport you and your wonderful Dad have. Actually, they're interconnected. ☀️🌞👏
I miss my dad so much. It’s gonna be 30 years on September 1, since my dad lost his battle to lung cancer. This is the most beautiful video I’ve seen you do with your dad. Both of you still got great baseball playing skills. I hope you continue to enjoy your dad & loved while they’re still alive. RIP to my father, Roberto 😪🙏
I lost my dad 3 years ago and man Adam this brought me to tears seeing you and your dad playing catch. What i wouldn't give to turn back time and be able to do this with my dad. This video brought back so many memories of my dad. Thank you.
Baseball was a link between my Dad and I.This crushed me emotionally.Thank you for the memory of throwing the ball with my Dad.May God bless the both of you..
This reminds me of playing basketball with my brother decades ago. We were tight then. And playing catch with my dad when I was a kid. Then my dad teaching me ballroom & Latin dancing from the age of 6 until I had to step down at age 17. After my hip replacement I became a choreographer for my local community college. I miss my parents & my brother.
I had never even heard of Field of Dreams before. I got halfway through the video and had to stop to watch the movie and now I’m back. I have to say thank you to Adam and his dad! That movie was absolutely amazing and definitely got me in the end. Now I’m dying to visit the field of dreams myself. I’ve added it to my list of everything I want to experience in the US!
There is something special about tossing the ball with dad. I look forward to my next opportunity in August. Thanks for the wonderful video. This definitely helped ease the pain of the Monday Blues.
One thumbs up is not enough to give this video. This series with your dad has been so fun to watch. Hopefully in 20 years you can both say, "remember when we took that road trip in 2021 and played catch on the field of dreams?"
My dad loved baseball. He was a pitcher. We did watch this movie together. My dad is buried just a few feet away from Doc "Moonlight" Graham. I wish I could have done this with my dad. What a great journey you two are on. Thanks for bringing us along.
That day will be forever etched in your heart, priceless memories. This whole series is going to be priceless for you. I wish I would have thought something like this at the start of my dads dementia and before I lost both my folks 4 years ago. Love your dad he is a class act
God bless father and son, I know I'm emotional after losing my loving husband, but you and your dad sitting on the front porch teared up! You two on the field throwing the ball, lost it! Thank you for sharing your dad, he's a gem!
Eight years ago today, my mom died. My father died one year before her...the parent/child bond is a beautiful thing. I’m really missing them both today. Adam...relish this time with your parents. Thank you for this series.
Adam, your dad is somethin' else! I am tickled to watch this. My pop and I took a cross-country driving trip from Florida back to California once and it was a memorable experience to say the least. I lost him a few years ago and will always cherish those moments. Dadsare truely something else...
Throughout this series I have been really surprised and delighted how into baseball and other sports Adam has been throughout his life. He's more multifaceted than I gave him credit for!
Thank you Adam for these videos. These are some of the best videos you have ever put out. It has inspired me to spend more time with my Dad. Well done sir! Well done!
Man oh man... You've got me really missing my dad, dude. These are some amazing moments your'e having with your dad. With tears in my eyes, thank you sir!! ❤️
