It’s looking good so far and seems like it’ll have multiple features I’ve wanted in an app for a long time. I loved your TED talk and you’re one of many sources that have inspired me to continue my journey of learning languages even when it gets grindy at times. Keep up the good work!
Nice Job, Gabe! One of the best ways to learn pronunciation. But please provide the vocab with article. If you learn the articles separately... you're gonna have a hard time. German native here... :D
Hi. Thanks for the positive feedback! German has some unique language requirements which we are working to address. At the moment, articles are not available during card creation, but you can see the gender of each noun during the flashcard review.
Do you guys plan on making the first week/month of the usage free? Most services that offer products for long-term usage do that. It'd be cool to check out if the app works for me or not before I need to pay...
Hi Jim. Thanks for your question! There is an initial charge to set up your account for the beta, based on the plan that you choose for after official release. But will not be charged again until after your target language is available on the official app (and you will have continued access to the beta up until that point). We also offer a full refund within 30 days. Hope that clarifies.
Hi! Great to hear! Japanese is definitely on the list of languages which will be included on the app in future. We will post updates on our webpage as languages become available. Feel free to check in anytime with questions!
I love that you've done this! I got stuck at making my flash cards. This looks like the same process but simpler. When will it be available for download? I'm ready for this.
Hi dear wyner I have a suggestion , if it is possible ,(I believe that u and your team can do it) For more personalizing add more tools to select a picture from , imagine that I want to select my mother pic for mother word or father pic for father word , they don't exist in image search engines , I wish I could select image from my smartphone memory . Thank u and your team especially kay schofield .( She answered me several times in emails) Best wishes . Bye .
Hi. This feature is not currently available on the app, but we always love to hear suggestions for future feature development. You can submit your ideas directly to forms.monday.com/forms/33b0c39b62be9ed37c34d534ca906b9d
Hi. You can create flashcards in the beta for all of the available words and sentences. (Some languages in beta do not yet have the complete wordlist available so for those languages you would have fewer cards for the moment). If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
@@FluentForeverApp Thank you for replying. I have another question. Will the created flashcards and progress stay the same when the app shifts to the official version, or do I have to start creating them again from scratch ?
Hi! Thanks for your question. We are currently focused on developing the app for smartphones. Once we have released and optimized everything for mobile phones, we will be looking into adding support for tablets and, later, for desktop (either an installation or web-based version). If you have any further questions, we're happy to help.
@@@FluentForeverApp , Thank you for your prompt repply; I've two other questions: 1) I'm intresting in learn japanese with Fluent Forever, but my English knowladge is low intermediate, could I use Fluent Forever to learn japanese, without using Brazilian Portuguese, which is my mother languauge ? 2)Does Fluent Foverer has any plan for native portuguese speakers who want to be fluent in English ?
@@alexmicah6974 It is definitely possible to learn Japanese with the app as a non-native English speaker. An intermediate level of English should enable you to understand the vocabulary and grammar sentences as you create your cards. It would be up to you as an individual learner if you felt comfortable with the challenge. And yes! In future the app will offer English as a target language (released as a pair with another app-supported language ie. Brazilian Portuguese to English etc.). These English language learning pairs will not be released until after all target languages are available on the app. Hope that helps.
@@@FluentForeverApp ; That's is very interesting, to improve my English or even learn Japanese. I'll sign a plan when one of those courses be available.
Is this available on Android devices? Also, can you change the search engine (I noticed it was Bing Images... Google Images please)?! Looks amazing otherwise!
Japanese is definitely on the list of languages which will be included on the app. Due to its complexity it may be longer in development than some other languages. We will post updates on our webpage as new languages become available. If you have any questions we're happy to help!
Hello, when you sign up for the app you will have to choose a subscription type, which will be charged at the end of our free 2-week trial period when the subscription renews. You are, however, free to cancel the subscription before the end of the 2-week trial if the app doesn't suit your learning style. You can see more about our subscription pricing on our website or in the App Store/Google Play store. If you have any more questions we are happy to help!
Anki had 2 kind of it , one for Windows and one for Android , with Windows version u can create decks to review in Windows or Android version . Is it possible that u design an application To create sentences and images easily , easier than creating in android version , For example Anki had feature than can import from csv (than can made by exel ) 100 hundred or more sentences at once , If there was a windows application like anki to use such features I mentioned it will be very nice . Saving time more and more . Thank u again . Bye

Hi Karol. The beta app can be accessed at fluent-forever.app. (It will be available on the app store and google play later this year after beta testing is complete.) The app currently supports mobile devices with a minimum iOS 10.0 (iphone) or 6.0 (android). If you have any further questions we are happy to help!
Hi there, The 30 days for free are for users who are willing to subscribe to our subscriptions. For this we would need all the info as if it where a real subscription, and not a free one for X amount of days.
Hi Karim. Japanese is definitely on the list of language which will be included on the app! Due to the complexity of the language it may be a little longer in development than some other languages, but we are working on it! We will update our site as languages become available. You can also check out progress.fluent-forever.com for updates.
Hi. Thanks for your interest. Hebrew is among the languages that will be supported on the app in future. We will post updates as languages become available or near completion.
