Was good to hear your consulting with Rohan. The elephant in the room is redesigning you set up so that the AOA can be altered mid stunt. Lower to launch so that lift off speed is increased. And then raise it to best glide…

Adjustable pitch control via one way lock system. So start at -3 deg ND then you can coast just before band in a higher gear then hit band and then push the leaver to pitch up to 0-1 NU. The locking system could be like those button locks on gazebo legs for the quick shade. Not exactly that but something like that 🤷🏼‍♂️ You got have 99 bad ideas before you find a good one 💪🏻

Use a ramp. Get more air. Consider bringing a ramp or building a dirt lip. I see Evil Knievel jumping a canyon without a ramp, just trusting his speed with will allow him lift like an airplane. Just my crappy .02. If it doesn’t help call carry on but I don’t see you closing the gap without a ramp. If it was really close I would say just go faster but it’s beyond that.

I'm wondering if you could use something like a modified holeshot device to hold the nose down on the run up, with a second clutch lever or thumb brake to release the device just before you try to take off. Keep trying anyway👍

Soften fork settings as much as possible and stiffen the shock, a down hill run with a slight lift for take off would be the go. You want power band 2nd,3rd,4th she just came on as you took off.

1st attempt was a good effort! Maybe consider a wakeboarding style life jacket(not to bulky) to assist with getting to the surface if you have to bail out early again

What about a holeshot device that will keep the pitch down on run up = more speed...then release it just before take off when U pop the front....don't give up kale

My not qualified brain says lower the front so you can pick up speed and use a lip to counter/ pop up the sail, aslong as it doesn’t make you nose dive on the descent aha

have you tried having a droppable weight for take off to allow you to gain more speed, drop the weight then take off getting a further glide ?

Hmmm... It's not about the bike. It's not about the ramp. It's about control while flying; You need a good way to control the pitch of the wing. You can't have the bike be rigidly mounted, you will have a very, very narrow speed range where the glider is trimmed.

Why not make a ramp angled upwards at the river bank, that will give you boost into the air ?
