Considering the fact that this is the very first Tunisia Axis event squad, its good to see being more unique or better than the Tunisia Allies counterpart cuz at this point, Tunisia Allies got 3 Event squads. The current paratrooper, Charlton Automatic Rifle, and Silenced Sten squads. I hope this encourage players to play Tunisia Axis and it's time to turn the tide of the matches. No more easy games for Tunisia Allies mains who wants to farm bots 24/7.
It’s going to balance it out that’s for sure because the battles in Tunisia are intense most of the time so it’s going to be hard for the Allies they are going to have a hard time shooting down my paratroopers before they get down on top of them lol Especially since if you miss even one of the Italian Paratroopers it’s over PERIOD because I know from experience if you don’t see a flamethrower coming and he gets behind or to the side of your team well, all I gotta say is goodbye to that defensive position you just reinforced with your engineers lmfaooo
"Yeah, it's a good idea to allow people to get to an objective instantly and roast it like meat without any reason to not do it" -G̶a̶i̶j̶i̶n̶ I mean Darkflow probably
@@VolpeuszNo, judging by the promotional image (where all 6 of them have the flamethrower on their back already) and the description of the squad on the announcement page, all 6 soldiers jump with the flamethrower already on them in the secondary weapon slot, and it gets replaced by whatever weapons you grab from the crate. So you can get a squad with 6 flamethrowers, or a squad with 3 MGs and 3 flamethrowers, and so on. That being said, I feel like everyone's probably overestimating how powerful the flamethrowers will be. Yes, the "level 2" flamethrowers (M2, ROKS-3, etc.) are extremely good, but the "level 1" flamethrowers are really pretty bad. Compared to the higher level flamethrowers, the lower level ones do significantly less damage and are much shorter range, with their only advantage being they have extra ammo. I have a feeling these assault flamethrowers are going to either have identical stats to the lower level flamethrowers with less ammo than even the higher level flamethrowers, or do even less damage and have an even shorter range than the level 1 flamethrower while also having less ammo.
@@610Blackhawk you say judging by promotional but you know promotional pictures can be different from final product. and enlisted helpers told that they will have flamethrowers as pickup from box
@@dquod6.096 Well there's two things. First is that answering one overpowered thing by adding something else that's more overpowered on the other side is an exceptionally bad way to balance a game. It's what they did in Normandy with the Tiger and P-47, and Normandy has been horrible to play for a really long time now. The Allies get stomped by Tigers because they don't have an effective ground counter to someone playing the Tiger competently, and Axis teams get stomped by P-47s because it can wipe out entire teams in a single run and can only be countered by German fighters that basically no one plays because they've all got Tigers slotted. Pretty much unless you're playing the Tiger or P-47, you're not going to have a good time in Normandy 9 times out of 10. The other thing is, the only reason the Allies are overpowered in Tunisia right now is because of who is playing Tunisia. Right now, most of the players who are playing Tunisia are playing Allies, and a good chunk of them are fairly high levels and fairly skilled. The Axis teams however are about 5% skilled players, 25% unskilled or new players, and 70% bots. I think I'm like level 7 in Axis Tunisia, and even at that low level I'm usually getting around 3,000-5,000 score, and the guy in second place will have *maybe* 1,000-2,000, usually less. Half the time I get more score than the entire rest of my team *combined.* I'm also typically getting more points than whoever's in first place on the Allies team despite the fact that I'm still using exclusively bolt action rifles, so its not an equipment problem. I just can't win a match when I'm the only one on my team who's actually playing. Almost a year ago when I was trying to grind Tunisia Allies, the situation was entirely reversed, with the Axis teams having all the skilled players and the Allied teams being mostly bots. Tunisia is fine *when the teams are balanced,* its just that the teams are rarely balanced. You'll occasionally get Tunisia Axis teams that are actually competent, and those matches are super fun, but that only happens like once every 20 matches.
@@1F.A Its a cool gun but the Gewehr 98 with the extended magazine is 3 billion times more cool and effective since bolt actions are one shot like yeah the Thompson is arguably better if you hit the head but that’s if you hit them in the HEAD the Gewehr is 1 shot since it’s a bolty get good if you can’t hit your shots seriously it’s not that hard. People act like it’s rocket science to hit your shots with a bolt action in this game smfh
All the campaigns will be combined into one, and the map will be picked depending on what nation you picked and what gear you have, so if you're using late war Soviet gear, you'll most likely play on a Battle of Berlin map and if you're using early war American gear, you'll play on a Pacific War map or a Battle of Tunisia map. There will also be tech trees for each nation too.
@@agentepolaris4914 Yeah it sucks but apparently, the benefit of having a tech tree in this game is so you don't have to grind for the same nation on a different campaign.
But I didn't understand one thing: is the flamethrower placed as a secondary or as a pistol? No because if it were primary with the parachute launch what would you change? The smg?
but you know there are two slots for primary weapons? if normal flamethrowers get gun and flame why are you even asking question if they will have flamethrower on pistol slot, that have no sense
@@Volpeuszbecause with paratroopers you can pick up a secondary weapon from a supply box, whether it be a sniper or an lmg, so what weapon slot is replaced by the flamethrower as they have a primary and a secondary already and if they already have both what can they get from a supply box
@@Volpeusz presumably the smg is primary and the flamethrower is a secondary, with both slots filled already what kinds of equipment can you pick up from the equipment box as both main weapons slots are already full
@@Gannet-S.4 i was hoping you are not gonna say that because i already said that flamethrower will be pick up. as i said helpers told us that flamethrower will be a pick up from the box, at least thats what quadro was told when he asked helpers
i managed to unlock the italian paratroopers and while i may not be the best enlisted player i doubt landing on a point pays out as bot and players will shoot you out of the skies if they see you espeically those with automatic weapons. if you manage to land alive you still have to recover the flamer from the box which can be destroyed with a anti-tank grenade or a tank shot. for the italian paratrooper SMG i can say it's decent and if used correctly gets you a lot of kills. The paratrooper flamethrower is powerful but it has way lower "fuel" than the standard flamethrowers, so entering a point spraying flames left and right ain't gonna work cause you'll probably exaust fuel and promtly get murdured. Best strategy is short burst of flames, they do the job just fine allowing you to save ammo.
Quick question to put out there I was playing normandy and fello paratroopers landed and they all had flamethrowers Does anyone know how yo equip them with flamethrowers
There's a glitch that I've found that lets you equip almost every primary weapon in the blue slot for paratroopers. The player you faced might've done that.
