(Drama)
Dealing with some adversity in his life has left Elisha (Michael Sigler) in search of purpose and meaning. After a life-long pursuit seemingly becomes an impossibility, he unexpectedly finds hope and redemption on a haphazard road trip with a stranger (Timothy E. Goodwin). Through the duos misadventures and their continual run-ins with a no-nonsense Sheriff (Dean Cain), Elisha realizes what it means to be a follower of Christ and that God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called.

This was an absolutely wonderful movie. Humor, realism, imperfect people all finding one another on the same path some lost, some stumbling but seeing their path, and some just waiting for their time. And all along the purpose was there. I like that it shows older people having a new phase and purpose in life. And probably making the truest of friends they have ever had. Thank you, Jesus, I needed to watch this!! Hallelujah!! Never too old, never too late to make a difference, wash away yesterday and make today a better day and to follow Him, to follow Him, to follow Him...Amen. P.S. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. Love it!!

Acts 2:38 is for service, not salvation. Acts 16:31 "And brought them out and said, sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved..." This was the perfect opportunity for Paul and Silas to add repentance of sins, water baptism, and Holy living. They didn't! Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation.
