chris from vienna here, yes the english shop ,i have visited, before. got marmite and tea pg tips . special treats as not available in austria. .... good video. cheers
Just for peoples info, and not sure if its just talk, but apparently they are now stopping stocking Tesco products and replacing with co-op products. Once Tesco stock runs out it won't be replaced, but will be co-op instead.
Noticed more co-op branded stuff was in stock. Still a lot more choice than in Iceland in Torrevieja- they've shrunk the shop size! Thanks for watching 👍
Your shelf’s are full Andy here in the uk most supermarket shelf’s have lots of empty spaces , you can get some products one week and not the next really frustrating
It's difficult to do a comparison. We can only show how it is here; if we did a similar on the "iceland" variation of the imports, they've moved the shelves etc. To around 2/3 of the size of their floor space. Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks for watching. Not sure. I think I've seen it in there. There is also " pick n pay" in Guardamar del segura we recently did a video on that may- They have a Facebook page- you can ask on there and they maybe able to advise. Thanks
I also buy Tetley tea here in US but was told PG Tips and Yorkshire brands were better and I found some in Spain and US but I didn’t find much difference in taste. Do you find any differences in either of those brands? Twinings is considered a premium tea here in US I think and I like their earl grey.
Yorkshire tea we find a bit peppery and stronger in taste. Most of us don't drink twinings you tend to only get that in hots, etc. Typhoo, pg tips, tetley are what most buy in the supermarkets, as a rule. Helen prefers PG, Andy prefers Tetley... Bob don't drink it, and chesca will drink any 🤣 Thanks for watching 👍 where abouts in the USA are you?
Just outside of New York City about 35 minute train ride away on Long Island Railroad into Manhattan but only 15 minutes from Queens which is part of NYC. Have been to Torrevieja a lot though so enjoy watching your videos.
@@tedg4171 thanks! Bizarrely helen, Andy and bob have been talking tonight while we're in benidorm... bobs not experienced NYC, so we may add it to a bucket list..(We went q few years back and loved it)- thailand first 😉
Iceland in Torrevieja closed a few years back (we did a video on it and alternatives)- there still are Icelands/ Overseas supermarkets up and down the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Sometimes you can drop lucky on stuff (like when they briefly had Hendos for sale- we bought 6 bottles 🤣 )- thanks for watching 👍 P.s. keep am eye out for one of the videos this weekend 😉
