Unrelated question Should you raze in multiplayer? I think that even though extra points are nice the whole purpose of getting points is developing with them and if you’re not able to cover the development deficit from razing with those extra points then it becomes pointless to raze. Maybe only when you stack a lot of dev cost then razing might be a good idea but idk.
Early game razing can help scaling but if done too much can be bad, later on as game progresses I think you should be razing less and less unless you don’t plan to state what you are razing
Qeustion i got, when you were Mentioning Timing in Game. If you are Playing Portugal, shoudn't be your Artillery Timing be finishing your 3rd Idea Group, since you should have like double the artillery fire then anybody but spain has?
The artillery modifier of +1 artillery fire is not pips but rather modifiers of your damage. Since the cannons do half of their fire damage and tech 10 cannons barely do any damage, it’s still not as much as you think. From my tests, artillery fire shines at tech 16 with the new cannon
