Do you folks even read the cannon comics? (not the BS Disney crap) Damn kids don't know Jack Schit, or any of the Schit family for that matter. Yes he mourns Padme, yes he acts like a droid. Yes he is kind at times too totally not killing everyone at the time, merciful even. He has even had visions of a "Jedi Vader" too in all white even goes back to his master to apologise. Twice this kind of thing happened. Or that time he went to Padme's Tomb to literally pay respects and then destroy the place so it leaves a black mark on the Jedi's morale. There was that time he went to a dinner party, all civil like. He was still Darth Vader though. He wanted to give a gift to one of the last surving people that lived on Anderaal. The gift was a rock, literally Anderaal itself. The last tiny bits floating in Space. That was before the events of the dinner party transpired. Not the party itself, but what happened during. He still gave the rock but begrudgingly so.

That made me remember a random thing from DICE Battlefront II's campaign; a hidden room or trove of the Emperor's that had a door only Force Users could open, and Luke did the opening. Force Doors are canon, is the important takeaway.

@@n8wolf575 yeah I thank dice for the improvement of battlefront two, EA is the reason why it had a bumpy start. I can’t Believe I’m saying this lol 😆 but I actually like the new one more than the original because I can play as a light side Anakin Skywalker(Which is what I wanted in the original). The main downside is that EA cut the live service and we didn’t get the last bit of content, which looked awesome. I really enjoyed fallen order. still do. I’m having a blast with the Lego skywalker saga. Now they’re going to do a complete remastered a.k.a. remake of KOTOR. The movies were a disappointment but so far the games have been fun. I still do miss games like Unleashed, Outcast and Jedi academy. I played those games like crazy when I was in high school 14 years ago. Man time flies.

@@mr.dentist7810 yeah man. Truth be told I like the force unleashed story better than Star Wars rebels. I’m not saying rebels is bad but rebels feels a little bit too immature at times. Force unleashed does have its fair share of humor but it feels serious like the movies and the clone wars. Plus the finale of rebels is still left open with Ezra which was a bad idea in my opinion. Just finish the story already lol 😆

No game has that visual and audio like it does. if youre into star wars you need to play it just for the sounds and visuals. ithink its a decent game. DICE has an awesome engine. thats a fact. SW 7-9 is total cancer for me so every game that has stuff in it is kinda a problem for me :D Fallen order was pretty cool aswell. i was not angry after playing it. and thats my measurement how good a game is ahha. im really into star wars, the first games i played were on fucking floppy discs. i think ive been playing Star wars since 1993. X-WIng on MS-DOS. Shadow of the empire from 1997 was my favorite game in general for a long time. since im an RTS fan aswell i hope one day a decent studio will get the rights to make a new SW RTS game.

honestly i enjoyed both, i dont really have a problem with either.

Interestingly enough only a handful of Storm Trooper units were clones(most of them vets of the clone wars) the rest were regular humans.

@@thewatcher3429 the last of the clones in the Empire were Vader's unit and I'm pretty sure 99% died in suicide missions Emp's sent Vader on and genetic degradation due to rapid aging

Have you seen all of the other clones that Vader had made? The ones that were all cloned from Starkiller, and were all clearly deformed and deranged? Why would they distinguish this one from all the others?

It didn't really make sense. If he could make that many force sensitive clones, then why didn't he clone himself for parts to fully heal himself or just have clones of himself for an apprentice.

@@FirstKingPotato A few points for that is that A) it would never get unnoticed by the Emperor if he tried that, he knew all along about Starkiller in the first game and just toyed with Vader right until the end. There's also a matter that it was revealed with plans for the 3rd game that Vader allowed himself to be defeated so he could be taken to an imperial base and destroy it so the entire cloning proccess was probably the Emperor's plan all along too. B) The game does a check here to show that the cloning process is imperfect and creates mindless drones not proper clones with a chance being one in a billion to get a proper one (Although you could argue the clone we're plaing in TFU 2 is also imperfect), if Starkiller clones were mindless killer machines because of his emotions, imagine how dangerous would be Vader clones with all his hate and power. C) Vader is always portrayed as incredibly arrogant and dominating, I doubt he would ever consider cloning himself and creating someone that could rival both his power and position. Makes sense to me tbh but there is also the option that none of the above are true and it was a mess just like 90% of the EU canon.

@@FirstKingPotato Because Starkiller was originally trained to be a living weapon. A near unstoppable killing machine. His clone was supposed to serve the same purpose. Less thinking, more murdering. As for why Vader didn't clone himself, I guess he just didn't want to see his old self staring him back in the face. And if he cloned new organs and skin tissue to become fully functional without his suit, Palpatine would be pretty mad at him. Also, I think the pain he feels constantly feeds his dark side energy. And also the suit is styling as all hell.

@@FirstKingPotatoThe idea of Vader cloning himself so he can have an apprentice is an absolutely hilarious idea and mental image. Its also an absolutely God fucking awful idea. For one, that clone would functionally be himself in his prime, not his current self, which means he would be looking at a mirror image of Anakin constantly. Considering Vader's whole mentality, the problems that would create for the real deal should hopefully be obvious. For two, and tying into the first point, a clone like that would be unfathomably dangerous if it ever went rogue (like, say, the entire premise of 2 major SW games, perhaps?) due to Anakin's whole special snowflake status. And besides of which, Anakin's personality simply just isn't very suitable; the entire idea is a disaster waiting to happen, far more than even the whole Galen-clone project was. There are a MASSIVE number of problems with TFU 2, with the whole idea of being able to easily mass-clone incredibly powerful Force-Users being a very big one that breaks the rest of the franchise over its knee, and there are any number of things to criticize with it, but 'why didn't Vader clone himself?' is, uh, very much not one of the routes to go. Again, its genuinely a comically funny image, but nevertheless.

Terrible compared to the first game. I could tell at a young age that it was made so they could make a quick buck.

People just hating both games are 7 out of 10 guess some have never actually played a real bad game.

The whole "bleeding them evil" thing really doesn't make sense when you think about it. That would mean that the Sith would have to kill a Jedi unarmed in order to take their crystal and bleed it. Think about that; Jedi dying for over a thousand years and their lightsabers being stolen, and the Jedi Council never even noticed a pattern? The Sith were supposed to be too weak to go up against Jedi around the time of their supposed extinction, how were they suddenly capable of killing Jedi while unarmed and somehow keeping their presence a secret?

They might have used a lightsaber with 'jedi' colors, and also their presence was not a secret but they hid as well as Taliban in their enviorment.

@@ichthus2162 The Sith (referred to as the Brotherhood of Darkness at the time of their extinction) had grown weak because a group of weak Sith would gang up on the master, kill him and take his place, only for the same thing to happen to them. That's why Darth Bane invented the Rule of Two; to ensure the Sith would only get stronger per master. The Jedi could sense the Dark Side as well as potential danger, so any attempt on their lives would be thwarted. And if the Force was used to kill a Jedi, then the Jedi would know it was a Sith Lord who did it, which defeats the whole point of why the Sith were in hiding.

Who said they needed to kill a Jedi to get their crystals? They could get new ones from the mines, if they were jedi previously like Dooku they can just bleed their own, they could get them from Jedi killed by someone else, there's many ways to get them. And this would be a crystal every couple decades as new apprentices are brought up, it's not like some serial killer case where a lightsaber is going missing every Friday at 8 for the past year. And even beyond that, they could literally just reuse the crystal from the old master if needed.

I'd say the XBox/PC version of the game, apart from looking significantly better, had better level design, better movement and much better bosses whereas the PS2/Wii version had some additional content and a few fun shenanigans to mess around with (additional modes, some different force powers, some different levels). Yes, not having to do the Star Destroyer QTE is a plus, however you also don't get to do the Proxy Bossfight (instead, the level only had an Imperial Black Guard), so there's that.

There was another planet in the book (Malistare) but there wasn't any combat so that's likely when the game didn't have it. I didn't mind the lack of planets tbh.

They had a year to develope it so it was extremely rushed think the story was made in under a month before production started

What i dont get about that ending(besides the fact no one else saw the darkside clone show up) is where the hell was this secret clone the entire time our galen was out decimating vader's soldiers? And why bother trying to turn our galen back to the darkside, when vader's got a perfectly darkside clone of his own on standby? Unless it was more of a last resort situation, which is still kinda questionable in my opinion. But then again, im no story writer(even though i aspire to be one day) so maybe theres just something im not seeing.

If you can make a game like Unleashed in just 9 months. Wow. I mean, it’s playable, has no bugs, decent water effects in Kamino, nice lightning effects, etc. It’s not a 10/10, but wow, 9 month to that to a game I think it earned a 7/10

They suffered worse than Obsidian when they made KOTOR 2 and Fallout NV (The most popular fallout game by the community)

It's way more refined than the first in terms of graphical fidelity and gameplay. It's just too short. If it were a few hours longer it'd be a great game. I mean it almost didn't get made at all. LucasArts was very unpredictable when it came to what projects and franchises they'd finish and this game nearly got the chopping block despite George Lucas having all the money in the world to pour into it.

Or push one button on his suit and kill him by turning off his life support system. Or use electricity based weapons because he's basically completely defenseless against those on purpose so palpatine can mess him up with force lightning Or just disassemble the suit, only leaving him with the life support system

There was DLC for the first one that is about sith lord Starkiller invading the Hoth base and fighting Luke.

I mean even before Disney stuff like this was really only 'canon' until the powers that be wanted to do something else in its place. Under Lucas the movies were the only thing that were ever 'hard' canon.

@@username1660 According to authors that worked on EU material back when it was still being made, such as Karen Traviss (Republic Commando series), you couldn't just do whatever you wanted with the franchise. You were given a list of places, events, and characters that you weren't allowed to touch. Everything substantial you did had to go through a Lucasfilm representative and at times even George Lucas himself, as he was surprisingly easy to contact for questions about the lore. Writers would speak to or email him concerns about lore and canon and he'd actually answer them back. The films may have mattered the most to him, but he did take an active role in the expanded media, and there was a active effort by Lucasfilm employees such as Leland Chee to keep the lore cohesive.

@@DovahFett You're correct, but that's not really relevant to EU material being as unmodifiable as the movies were. The EU was canon only to the point immediately before another movie or even another EU piece said otherwise. Lucas often involved in the creative side of the EU stuff, but he largely saw it as separate entity from the movies themselves. Take the Force Unleashed for example. If Lucasfilm put out a movie depicting the formation of the Rebel Alliance that didn't involve Starkiller/Galen Merrick, then the Force Unleashed would be considered non-canon.

It was rushed and was too short. Cloning Galen kind of invalidated his sacrifice, and it doesn't make sense the Empire would retry a strategy that bit in the ass in first place. Death Star ll not withstanding.

Story is bad at the end, the destruction is turned down a bit, enemy variety is sorely lacking. The cutscene featuring a ton of EU only starfighters, transports, and capital ships was sick though. And it's like 4 hours long.

Wii/PSP version was very interesting.

It's also a better game on Wii.

@@WllKiedSnake Wii doesn't randomly move Juno to the Escort Frigate and keeps her in the much larger Assault Frigate like she was originally scripted to command from.

I look back and realize how much I loved these games. At the time the controls were a little weird, but they are solid games

The Wii/PSP versions are better games. Completely different level design and gameplay mechanics. More story content and levels also. The first Force Unleashed is coming to Switch soon based off of the Wii version.

Perhaps also with an unwinnable vader fight to make it at least legends accurate

@@MrRatchet015 yeah... Actually those feats are entirely possible, especially with Palpatine's fleet destroying scene in the Sequel Trilogy. Anakin Skywalker at the peak of his power could totally rip down a star destroyer, and even then, it's not like Galen Marek ripped it down all at once. Bet the gravity of Raxus Prime helped too.

@@burnttoast.2017 I don't buy anything in the News Trilogy because is not good writing, I know the Forces is being always a gimmick for the plot convinces but now is actually a Plot Convinces 100% of the time, but is not a "Normal" stuff to do.

Yay actual points, I remember really liking both of them so I was hella confused why it was worse.

Also, the enviroments and related things just feel out of place. They aren't from Star Wars, they are generic sci-fi worlds that could fit in Bioshock or Halo perfectly. Another problem would be that the story is just bad, short and without a reason to happen. They should have continued the sith lord story.
