Don't know why exactly but this is at least a top 3 of all your let's plays. Really enjoying the teamwork CO-OP aspect of the series. I would love to see this go on for a long time. That's probably why many thought the mayonaise factory was a bad idea because they saw the end game coming :D
Finally!! Long time plans! I would watch this everyday up until FS25, Think this is you best multiplayer series yet. The dynamic when you work together is awesome and now finally you have a little bit money to spend so you really can progress 😊
The price for the roller is quite right. The bigger rollers needs a much more durable frame, therefor a lot more steel and work to do it. So yes, it’s a huge price leap! PS: I’m glad to see that frontloader near the ground when driving!
I’m convinced when daggerwin does field work he is now just taking the mick ….. he is Mr 90 percent man, drives around missing stuff all the bloody time !
Absolutely love this series, though I’ve missed a couple episodes due to life. But coming back to see all the changes has me excited to watch the missed episodes. Hope this series has a good long life. Future idea, combine this series with vintage survival on a small fields map and have different equipment that you can rent from each other.
If your really thinking about getting the bigger roller. You guys should check out the modded version of that same roller. it comes in both sizes. The size you got and the larger one. But more importantly it comes with 3 configuration options field roller, grass roller, mulcher. Also it has double the working speed if you got a tractor will enough balls to get it to 25kph
the olive obsession continues. i seem to remember the same from another series, never did profit and so boring to watch, same as grapes. picture watching someone harvesting a field with a 1m header... such fun. Funny dagger thinks a 12m roller is slow
Late again, but hard mode is not hard really. You just get used to making a crap load of money really quicky on easy because the economy is so easy. It makes for better series generally though when on RU-vid, so it makes sense to play that way. You want to progress and get new stuff. Not grind away for 10 in game years.
better off having 2 of the smaller 41k roller, than 1 of the huge roller. or there is a mod on modhub modeled of the smaller roller... can be roller, mulcher and grass roller, and faster work speed if i remember right.
I disagree, i think its the right amount. Allows them to start thinking big but they still have to think about every purchase. I wouldn't want them to be 100 episodes in still saving for that olive harvester
On one hand, there's a point - mayo is a bit out of balance, but on the other hand, you could make much more on this map simply by forestry. The downside of forestry is that it would make the series quite boring (in the same way as the constant silage foraging) and not fun to watch. And as mentioned in one of the previous videos this series is not a hardcore tournament but pure entertainment. So I'd treat mayo in its current state as a necessary evil that lifts some stress and allows for a bit more comfortable gameplay.
The thing about the mayo is that is pretty much passive income that discourages any other form of gaining money. Like why even put up with the effort of bailing, wrapping, harvesting, olives and all that if mayo is just gonna earn multitudes more for way less effort. There’s a mod by Siid Modding called the John Deere 8760-8960 and it’s another cheap large tractor that can get the high horsepower. If you’re looking for another tractor to add to the float I’d check that one out.
People asking who the "boss" is of this farm is just because you guys communicate with each other on what the best move should be next for the farm is kinda odd to me. It's always felt more like a partnership to me. You guys know how to work together.
I love this series, but I don't much like how you collect the wood he cuts, yet you don't ever cut more than 1 tree at a time. Seems a little one sided for 2 content creators.

Daggerwin, when you harvest the soybeans can you clear the trees opposite the large field at the entrance? They are not needed there as it is gonna be tight for crossing to the area where the trees were.
I imagine the extra price for the bigger roller comes with the added complexity of having to fold in more rollers, the structure needed to hold the whole thing together, and possibly other factors which don't linearly scale with the working width of the machine.
Given the money you still have I would have got the John Derre rather than get the ford as a fill in. Just seems like a bad investment to get it whilst still planning to get the JD
The price increase is correct. It's not about the price of the with, but also they weight of it, it's 27ishtons against 8ish tons and also the size means many more work hours to make, then there is material cost (it's frame isn't twice as big, but at least 4-5 times as big) It's just basic knowledge. name of the bridge: "The flipping bridge" "Bridge mcflippface"
