If you actually look at it from the right angle, the front is supposed to look like a cobra, the headlights being the eyes and the intake/grill opening are meant to give the appearance of a Cobra about to strike something.

I Really want one of these. I absolutely love how the front end looks. The GT350 looks a lil bland to me, but the 500 looks just beautiful, perfect in all honesty. I hope I could buy one in a few years. Im generally not into the idea of buying a car fast but rather making it fast. But this is an exception because I never wanted a new car as much as I want this one. because all of my other dream cars are 20 or 30 years old.

My choice would definitely be the Shelby GT500 over the Challenger. I even like the Camaro ZL1 better than the Challenger also. I value handling in my muscle car. The Shelby GT350 with 6spd manual would be the one I would choose over all Mustangs though. The sound in combo with the high rpm fun you get out of the flat plane crank V8 is second to none. Kind of like Ford's version of the Porsche GT3RS and the GT2RS.

You can tell which muscle car I chose from the picture to the left of this comment. That doesn't mean I don't like the Redeye vehicles. Just like the look of the GT500 more than the Redeye. Now as far as the GT350 is concerned, I like the more aggressive look of GT500. The sound of the GT500 is also more appealing to me. The 20 inch wheels with the 16.5 inch rotors look awesome. The rotary gear changer is a drawback but I can live with it.

A German tuning company called AEC has made a tuned Hellcat, that has carbon fiber hood, trunk, wing, splitter, and modified suspension. Puts out 888-hp. I'd like to know if the handling mods make it put the power down easier than the standard Hellcat and if it would stack up against this GT500.

I love the Redeye, but I'll take the GT500. It's better in almost every way. Btw, I wouldn't get the carbon fiber track pack or if I did, I'd immediately replace those wheels with some HRE's with PS4S tires. Those carbon fiber wheels cost over $10,000 to replace and I'd only use them on track days.

To be fair, you can't really blame auto engineers too much. They're trying to find a way to make a car that meets modern safety, emissions and fuel economy standards, while still making it appealing to the mass market. The only reason the Miata is selling well is because of its brand image. Almost everyone is saying the BRZ could use more power, but people understand the Miata for what it is.

The Super Snake was technically an aftermarket option for the S197 GT500. You had to first buy a GT500, then buy the option package through a certified Ford dealer and they would install it once all the parts arrived.

Mustang GT500 all the way. It's basically a supercar in every way. Will be orderin a new gen7 '24 Mustang GT 5.0L w/track package + 6spd ZF manual.. unless i can find new '23 Mach 1 on lot (doubtful they goin fast my dealer said..some ppl want best of last Gen). 💯

Crazy how this car is lighter, has a smaller engine, smaller supercharger, and less power than the challenger hellcat redeye but the redeye has a better gas mileage rating. I know thats irrelevant, but still. Its interesting

I own a 2016 Mustang and with the magneride suspension it is the best handling system. With the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric driving and breaking in drenching rain is like driving in the dry. Car doesn't lean in any direction. It is planted on road courses
