Your not the only one. I try to explain this game to my friends every day and they just laugh. I play both this and DBFZ, and enjoy both respectively. DBFZ feels like marvel, MVCInfinite feels like a SFxT on roids. I have a buddy that I played UMVC3 with a lot, and he won't even touch this game. I'm like you gotta play it and feel it, then give me an answer until then your opinion is irrelevant. It goes back to "first impression is everything", and right now our society will drop all interest in something if it doesn't capture their attention within 3 seconds.

Stoic it's because Marvel and Capcom wanted the newest MvC to be a good starting place for beginners to the series, which was a really good idea, but Marvel also made sure to devote the entire Marvel side of the roster to just characters that appeared in the MCU films or characters that will be involved in the MCU. Therefore, fan favorite characters like Wolverine, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, and even Super Skrull were scrapped which turned a lot of people off. Also it's just kinda weird looking. The graphics in MvC 3 looked way better by comparison because of the comic book-esque design and cel-shading.

only thing wrong with SFxT is that your characters health is shared, so you can't play out both your character's health bars. otherwise it's perfect. it has one of the best rosters in FGs.

The only bad thing about SFxT was its DLC that hurt alot of people and the mindblowing amount of it. And the Gem system that people didn't like but got over quick. Also the art style isn't something to against but some people didn't like it too much, but got used to it anyways MVCI tho, on a non-biased level was bad in everything but the feel of the gameplay, which still had a few bad stuff with it as ofc it's not perfect, but that was the only good thing about it. And it's good online connectivity

It doesn't explain why Street Fighter 5 was such a flop at launch... or Tekken X Street Fighter.... or Resident Evil 6... Puzzle Fighter... Dead Rising 4... Umbrella Corps... Devil May Cry: Devil May Cry... That come I can't remember... Bionic Commando... It's almost like for the past 10 years, at least until recently, Capcom doesn't understand who buys their games, how to sell to them, or what they want out of Capcom. ....At least that is the perspective of someone who just wants another Mega Man Legends game. Fate862 Tekken 7 being the most lazy on launch compared to SFV and MVCI? Yeah street fighter takes the cake, Tekken actually had a wide range of characters with some single player stuff (Treasure Mode) it even had a story mode at launch and that games story is better than MVCI and SFV’s story mode. Plus the graphics look great and the music is alright with a few hallmark soundtracks (Mishima Building) and the gameplay is great with a great customization system. I’d say there was a lot more heart and work put into Tekken 7 than the other two games.

But Disney didn't ruin this game, Capcom did. They rushed the development of the game, they flipped the assets of MVC3. Capcom is too blame for making a product that Disney couldn't sell.

No it was Disney/marvel who ruined the game. the main problem with it was the character roster, and disney had a lot of say in this department. We won't have this problem anymore on a newer game, since they bought Fox, however. Hopefully they'll finally give us back X-men, and Fantasic Four villains. One thing I don't understand is why didn't they give us Adam Warlock, I mean the guy is pretty much THE authority when it comes to Infinity Gems.
