The Forgotten Wallace and Gromit Game made by Telltale: Episode 3 

It’s cursed due to the fact it’s Bri’ish.

It’s like watching a show called “Zombies!” but no zombies show up and it’s just normal people going about their day. It’s very unsettling.

I actually quite like the major. He just seems like a genuinely nice, if a little misguided, old dude.

"Plays along?" Crum just outranks him. Gromit was in 'Nam with the major, and they both still hold their titles. Gromit's a good soldier.

Probably cuz Crum is the only one that treats Gromit like a human instead of a dog

Sallis was still the VA for Wallace in Curse of the Were-Rabbit and A Matter of Loaf & Death. Ben Whitehead started around that time, and he’s been Wallace’s official VA since about 2012.

That's the magic of Wallace and Gromit. It's so charming and lighthearted that it's hard to hate or mock it.

The animation isn't half bad too, honestly a valiant attempt at mimicking the claymation style.

It's cause back before Telltale hit their "big break" with the Walking Dead, their games were genuinely made by smaller teams with passion behind them. Look at Sam and Max, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People...heck, even Jurassic Park and Back to the Future weren't all bad--and that's just talking about the Telltale titles I've played... But then the Walking Dead was the success that it was, and Telltale decided that all of their games going forward needed to be Choose Your Own Adventure formats, with multiple endings. And then the licenses started rolling in, and even though some of those titles had genuine quality to them (like The Wolf Among Us and even Tales from the Borderlands), people were getting burnt out at feeling like they had no control over where the story was going. And that, I think, was the problem--the games after Walking Dead fostered a sense of needing to hurry through the story, but also not giving players much control over how the story played out. Whereas in the pre-Walking Dead titles, while players still didn't have control over the story's ending, there wasn't an active game mechanic trying to push you to the end, and you could take your time exploring and enjoying the world that had been made. And worse, these post-WD titles have, in some ways, corrupted modern audiences enjoyment and perception of the older titles: RT displayed and example of this, and it was exactly the same kind of reaction that my best friend had when I had him play the Sam and Max games--an expectation that "your choices matter". (Yes, I'm fully aware that RT was half joking, but the fact remains that when anyone who *didn't* grow up "with" Telltale growing up thinks of them, they immediately think of the mechanics of the post-WD games, and not the classic adventure games that Telltale was *founded* around to continue)

@@hubdweller9969 It's legitimately sad that the TWD game basically forced them to only do those types of games since it's what brought them into the mainstream, but their point and click adventure games just have way more charm than anything else they made afterwards apart from like, TWAU since that was, to my knowledge, not an IP adaptation.

As someone whose childhood W&G game was Project Zoo (where Gromit walks bipedally the whole game), it's doubly cursed for me. Heck, Gromit walks on two legs most of the time in the original animations, too, I wonder why Telltale decided otherwise for this series...

Watch The curse of the were-rabbit. That's a great full length movie. Some shorts that I recommend are "A grand day out", "A close shave" and "A Matter of Loaf and Death" all great ones that I grew up watching.

@@Zero001LP They're all back up on Steam after LCG bought most of Telltale's stuff, I think. But yeah, it's funny to think that before The Walking Dead's success made them rework their entire business, Telltale was just making... good ol' quirky point and click adventure games. And they're a really fun time.
