TPLF helping the Eritrean fighters from South, Oromo fighters in another part of Ethiopia and Ethiopians being tired of Derg all contributed to the success of Eritrean fighters. It was not because of just the Eritreans fighting Derg....
lol really? It was the eplf that started the revolution. The Ola didn’t do anything, they were weak in alll aspects, tplf which is the only rebel group comparable to the eplf was trained and armed by EPLF. We all know that eplf was the main rebel group, that’s why most of the major battles were fought in Eritrea and half of the Ethiopian army was operating exclusively in Eritrea. Mengistu even moved his cabinet to Asmara in 1982 to over see and offensive against the eplf which ended in failure. This is just your way of coping. Ethiopia lost and we drove mengistu out, that’s that.
This documentary was filmed before the independence of Eritrea. The title "The Forgotten War" is in reference to the fact that the international community were indifferent to the atrocities perpertrated against Eritrea.
