Thank you. I will begin my discernment process in September and this video helped me a connection with the entire Carmelite community.

I had taken a vow as a lay Carmelite way back when I was young. The women at the group felt inspired for me to take the vow without properly forming me. Fast forward 20 yeara and I only recently started saying the rosary again (I was never a big rosary prayer, howwver). What msfe me mote devout was switching to an Institute of Vhtist the King oratory, which only says the Latin Mass. It was through my journey home, when I remembered my Catmelite vow. I asked my confessor at a church brunch and he said to speak to him about it in confession because I may need to get a dispensation to leave the secular order. But then few minutes later, I bought four brown scapulars for myself and my three daughters from the church's shop and had them blessed. And now I'm thinking about staying in the order! But I don't know what I need to do on a daily basis. Please do a video on this. Thx

Hello Chavaby. I've been out of the country working for several weeks and I had not seen your comment. Apologies. I actually really like your suggestion on the daily life of 3rd order Carmelite. Many of us work and have families, so no one is really the wiser as to our daily conversations with our Father in Heaven. As summer is approaching, I may have time to do another video on this topic. Thank you for inspiring it. Also, don't leave Carmel. Even if you've been away for a long time, Carmel is always there waiting for you. Of course, some people need to remove themselves from the obligations, but that's ok, too. Carmel should be a lifestyle and not a burden. If you want to chat privately, write me at juliapoblete912@gmail.com. Blessings to you from Washington, DC .

I see this comment is several years old. I hope though you decided to stay and be more active in Carmel. Either way, God bless you on your journey
