The Forward and Direct clutch build on our 4L80e Transmission

Sooooo, thanks for the clarification; I went back to swap a piston in that 3rd gear clutch, and it helped aplenty to make sure the steels were in the right clutch. They're about .020 thicker in the 3rd than they are in the direct. I wish there was a apet-by-part install vid. I bought a thrust washer kit and had plastic "selectables" left over and a whole piston that I have no idea where it goes.....feel like I missed something? Good videos really like them a lot of the ones I've seen they move way too fast for me rebuilding a 4l80 haven't really found out why third gear clutches burned up any ideas keep up the good work
