AFTERBUZZ TV - The Fosters edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of ABC Family’s The Fosters. In this show, hosts Jeffrey Masters, Hannah Prichard, Jillian Leff, and special guest Gavin MacIntosh discusses episode 15. From executive producer Jennifer Lopez (American Idol, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, The Back-Up Plan), The Fosters centers on two moms (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum) raising a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids. The series also stars Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci and Cierra Ramirez.

I watched the episode again and I noticed in the movie theatre there's a line from the movie they're watching saying something like: look me in the eye and tell me you don't feel what I feel. And then the pinky touch happened and Connor started it. Could me a sign of him making clear he's feeling something for Jude...

LADY. It's okay for Jude and Connor to be in a relationship!!!!!! I feel like everybody thinks that Jude and Connor are so much younger than they are. Jude and Connor are both 14. That puts them at about 8th grade. That makes them literally *one* year away from being a Freshman in high school. They aren't that young. There are people that I went to school with that had their first relationship in 4TH grade. FOURTH. And, a relationship doesn't have to have sex to be a relationship. So there.

She said that they're too young to be in a relationship and that they should down the road...and age really isn't an issue here. That's all I was saying.

DaeOnRU-vid Age can be an issue because at this age they can't really do much with them exploring their sexuality. I mean they could be in a relationship but they wouldn't be able to fully go in depth with it.

I know that. I'm saying for the characters not for the real life possibilities and how far they could do it in the show. But they COULD do it!

Gavin is right about OTP One True Pairing( i.e your favorite couple). Its been festering in Tumblr among fans since forever and has finally crossed over to the actual tv show recognition (similar to "shipping" and "fan fiction") :-) JONNOR guys...JONNOR...thats all I'm going to say( it was sweet, innocent, age appropriate and adorable). Great on ABC FAMILY for showing this interaction between two boys. Another thing, bringing up their age is interesting, because no one would second guess/question it if it was a boy girl interaction between 13 year olds...you just wouldn't, lets be honest. We all have had crushes at age 13 whether gay/straight, lets be real. Also the writers can go as slow as possible with Jude and Connor, its a given they are 13 years old...they still have a lot of figuring out to do...don't mind it. ok now I'm done :-) Great recap guys, as always

Everything LGBT gets much higher scrutiny, and aspects that would be "ignored" in a straight pairing get unnecessary attention. A lot of people, even some that consider themselves allies (i.e., support equal rights), still believe there is a (degree of) choice involved in being LGBT. So having a 13 year old gay couple, even non-sexually charged like Jonnor, plays into the FALSE claims that the LGBT community recruits children...

Also, OTP was used wrong here and in the show, lol. You don't say "they are OTP", you say "they are *MY* OTP". An OTP is like an ownership thing...you have your OTP's, other people have other OTP's. That's just the way the term works. Things like Endgame and stuff like that though, that can be general. It's just an OTP is specific to the viewer or the shipper in question. So you can't have a pair that's OTP, you can have a pair that's YOUR OTP.

Am I the only one noticing the tension between Lena and Stef? I have felt this tension for a couple episodes. And then in this episode there was a short scene at the school with the new principal and the interaction between Lena and her seemed kinda weird to me. Especially when the principal said that they're a team and make decisions together. Something that isn't happening right now between Lena and Stef. I don't know, I hope Lena won't hit a point where she's going to cheat on Stef. Because I feel a bit of a distance between Stef and Lena.

I didn't like the Mariana and Ana scene. I do feel that Mariana had the right to tell her mom how she felt about her past. I don't feel that she could tell Ana that she can't get better and be a mother. I really don't like the idea that an addict can't recover and be a good mother. Yes addicts are always recovering, but their are people that have been clean for years!

Jesus' best GF was Lexi but I am really tired of his love life. He needs to be single for a while. Conner has been a jerk to Jude so I do agree with Gavin here. I also find it ridiculous that any of the parents would allow these teens to go on tour.I think in the end the tour will not happen at all.

I'm anxious to see a historic, shocking scene between Jude and Conner that will "stick" in the minds of their audience for decades. Those are the type of scenes that remain lifelong moral food.

i think is pronounced Ah-na cause she is latina, so its pronounced differently from how you guys normally say it, i totally understand how Mariana is felling now, she probably already loves her sister and wants to protect her, but if Ana gives the foster the babies Callie will probably go with her dad, to give the house "space" and If Connor was a girl, and it was a ship, i dont think anyone would say it was a friendly pinky touch.

if lena and stef fostered connor then if connor and jude ended up having a relationship it would be illegal. that was the problem with the whole brallie thing.

Jess I have many friends who's relationships weren't accepted by one of their family, and they have went and live with the other family. And they're 14, it doesn't have to be as big as Brallie, when you're 14 all your "relationship" is, is normally hanging out and spending time together.
