For the grandson of the true founders, if you are seeing this, just know that there are many people out there that know the truth.

It’s so crazy how the first McDonald’s ever made is down the street from my school and a 30 minute walk from my house. History never ceases to amaze me.

Advice: Never share your secrets or someone will steal it and become successful.

The fact Kroc had the audacity to say ” If they [the brothers] had played their cards right, that 0.5 per cent would have made them unbelievably wealthy.” That’s like randomly knocking someone out and saying “well if he would’ve payed attention”

Michael was perfect for this role, such an incredible actor I never wanted to punch him so bad. The Mcdonald's brothers story is heartbreaking RIP I am grateful their story was made into a masterpiece of a movie. They don't get enough credit for creating fast food.

I just saw the movie last night and I recommend seeing it! (Spoilers) It was motivational seeing how a smart and simple design of the speedy system changed the world. However, Kroc's Greed was really distasteful and I liked how this was not sugar coated in the film.

I worked in a McDonald's in England for three years and loved it. I trained to become a floor manager but decided to go off to college instead and didn't stay long enough to take the exam. Part of the exam prep was the history of McDonald's. I later moved to Redlands, CA in 1992. I remember visiting the site of the original McDonald's and it was emotional. I didn't know the full history before watching the film, but I knew enough to know that I was at the place where McDonald's was born. I loved this video, thank you for sharing.

I have been a student of business my entire life… I’ve known the story from the beginning, as both my mother and my father worked for the corporation at one time. Some very valuable lessons can be taken from the story, and many of us still consider the McDonald’s brothers the founders of modern day fast food and the business models that derived from their humble beginnings. This is a story that should be told and appreciated over and over again.
