I totally agree with the comment below. Obviously, Curtis and Brian have been aboard for a long time and can meld their voices and musical talent with anyone. The two newer guys seem to lack preciseness, blend and dynamics that Vince and (particularly Brian) gave the group. With that said, if these guys came around my area to perform, I still would be the first in line to get a ticket.
Saw them in Columbus, Indiana in August of 2018. The guy on drums is still with them. All the others are different. The harmony is still the same, but I am old enough to have seen the originals many times and nothing will come close to them.
I have been a fan for years. However, this combination does not sound as "tight " as when Vince and Brian were aboard. Growing pains, perhaps Still good, Thanks for uploading.
This group is good---still needs to get tighter ---it feels as though they are still unsure of themselves. Boynton's tenor isn't as assured as Brian's was ----perhaps in time?? Maybe he should sing softer. ------IN any case, they are still excellent. --------------Wolfsky9
