Good job on an insur"mount"able task. This was "peak" entertainment! Some people may "pass" on this episode, but I'm a sucker for such "cliff"hanging moments like this! Mountains.
I'm sure that after Mimir has surmounted all four peaks of Solstheim Miraak is no match for him. Thank you for all your good work over the episode and the whole playthrough, it's incredible!
I don't know if you know, but after watching you fight the chicken dragon I just have to say it: when the dragon reaches 40-50% it loses the ability to fly. It either gets staggered mid flight, causing it to be grounded permanently at the next landing, or it crashes to the ground, also permanently grounding it. Secondly, I assume you also know this, but there is savegame corruption related to longer playtimes/quest completion. This is mostly an issue with quick/auto saves and there exists a mod called "SKSE engine fixes" that addresses this issue by replacing auto/quicksaves with full real saves. Sadly this also means there is a 1-2 second save time whenever this happens, but this is better than losing 100+ hours of progress due to a broken save. Thanks for the heads up! Do you know if a save with a dark auto-save past can be remedied? At least in Oblivion that anim glitch could be patched by swapping a byte.
@@VoicesFromTheDark The savegame corruption can be at least partially addressed with the "Fallrim" savegame tools. The provided instructions are quite good. Secondly, I would recommend backing up all savegames per episiode, so that at most you lose one session. Thirdly, it is not too late to use "SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)" to address this issue in general. As mentioned, this would add a noticeable delay to quick/autosaves. Since you are playing without mods you should still be fine, this issue comes up a lot earlier in modded saves, but can appear in vanilla as well.

The way Mortrag Peak is A: described as 'extremely hard and dangerous to get to', & also like Mimir is such a Solstheim tourist 🤭 loved very miscellaneous SkyrimTM tasks making a congruent theme, title & episode! very reminiscent of Champion of Cyrodiil😂love it! Hope you're doing well :)
I love the idea that Mimir was driven so insane by the mountain quest that he loses his bloodlust and becomes a wholesome motivational speaker, but only when nobody is around to hear it!
Be very careful about the Bend Will and Miraak. I've used it on his dragons during his boss fight - so the dragon attacked him, which pushed Miraak off his platform. Which meant the whole fight bugged out and I needed to completely restart from earlier save.
Oh, the disappointment on your face 👀 I feel your pain. I am not a glutton for punishment, so I'll skip those peaks 😅 great episode, even with the stress inducing crashes 👍🏻👍🏻
At some point in Oblivion the game was crashing because you dropped too many items on the ground. I like to think that the pan you dropped on that mountain is the source of all evil xD

Ok one question, why weren't you jumping? Still enjoyable and very Eldritch❤. Always try doing the Smiths quest before the Black book quest, not sure but think the chieftain death glitches the whole village 😢
