I've enjoyed your channel for some time and no disrespect intended but you have run into a blind. A blind is a clever way the mysteries have been kept secret all these years.they deliberately overemphasized certain things to make people come to false conclusions..think density and it's ability to hinder light. That's all that matter is..light that has been slowed down. Thus thinking density the correct order should be earth water air fire ..fire is the transformation of one thing into another. Air is the realm of thought and knowledge..water is the subconscious and earth is the body. The 4 elements are a key just like the key of solomon. . Frater E Student of the mysteries

Please believe that I also originally thought the order would be more intuitive as you suggest, but we are not talking about physical elements, but rather about their essences. Yod is fire, but not fire on which to roast marshmallows... In the same way, Heh is water, but the idea of water, the attributes of water - heavy yet ungraspable, undulating and feminine, of inscrutable depth, cleansing, sustaining, essential to life, yet terrible and even deadly in a storm. The Yin to fire's Yang, the Wet and Cold to fire's Dry and Hot. the Queen to fire's King. It makes sense for them to reside either together or at opposite ends of the spectrum. The density of the physical matters of the same name that you suggest would of course be another perfectly legitimate way to order these elements, but not one that helps us later in our studies. I might argue that this, then, is precisely the 'blind' - not a secretive move to misdirect onlookers, but rather our intuitive understanding not giving us enough of a way in. We are naturally 'blind'. We need keys to understand the mysteries. Here, the 'key' is precisely this less intuitive order which makes everything else make sense. If your intuitive understanding were sufficient here, we wouldn't need keys...
@@FoolishFishBooks In the mysteries we never ask the initiate to blindly acquiesce what we say is truth rather we ask "can you entertain an idea without accepting it?" my intuition told me the same order you did it was only after my teacher presented me with the correct philosophy that I was able to deduce the correct order. I was taught from a lecture that when we sleep we enter the yetzirah realm which is also called ruach.The yetzirah realm is the realm of concept and ideas which got me thinking,in the book "magic and mystery in tibet" by Alexandria david neel which mention thay tibetan occultist can ponder and meditate on an object.From their meditation,the object can manifest itself out of thin air.Which correspond to the realm of yetzirah,bringing things from that realm into ours.
Aha! Yes, that in theory is exactly what is supposed to happen, though most usually, the object goes from being conceived in the individual's Ruach, and from there the individual's Nephesh uses its hands and other limbs to bring the object into manifestation. In a world that mostly only recognises the Body ("Nephesh") and imagines that the Mind ("Ruach") is a product of the Body rather than the opposite, that's just a fancy way of saying "first you think it, then you make it" :D The three parts of the soul is a very interesting concept - Nephesh: Physical body - Ruach: Mental Spirit - Neshamah: Eternal Soul / I AM I'm looking forward to going into all that when I get into Alchemy (a few weeks from now)
That’s an interesting thing. That when we dream, we are in the Yetzirah realm. Witch it represented by air. I find the best dreams I’ve had was when I was flying.
I would love actually to see a tarot deck featuring an awkwardly placed artist with an awesome understanding of the concepts they’re relaying! Looking at the angel for instance, it’s funny that a simplification of the idea sent you searching for the Zelda fairies/sprites or whatever they’re called! It could be somewhat beneficial for teasing out where those ideas have taken refuge in your mind!

As always yet another clarifying video that helps when accumulating knowledge. There are several other channels now that work to explain these topics, however I find that you have a way of speaking that makes everything very clear and I thank you for that. After reading the first comment below I am emboldened to ask a question that is hard to water down in this format but has been on my mind. I am trying to focus my studies on those things that are worthwhile and are springboards to the "secrets that have been hidden" or the enlightenment that comes from immersion into all of these books and their knowledge. Recently I came across a podcast on Gaia where the speaker claimed that there is absolutely no evidence in Israel or anywhere else that Solomon or his father David ever existed in reality. No articles of antiquity have been found - nothing. Similarly but different is the study of the Picatrix which is saturated in astrological and celestial arrangements that are incorrect according to our current knowledge. If this is true is it worthwhile to study books that have no value in reality and how can such books lead to the "hidden secrets" if their contents are questionable? What impact can this have on the structure of magic? I know this is a difficult query but I wanted to get your take on this. As always, many thanks.

Thank you for this introduction. . Cabala four worlds are a difficult issue for me. I hardly can immagine how a "world" might be included in a Sefirah which belongs to a world... Or, how there can be both a sub division of the tree of life by worlds, and one tree of life for each world! I'm absoslutely a begginner, please have mercy for me!!! 😮😄

This is a great way of approaching the Kabbalah Tree of Life. Richard Cavendish approaches it similarly in his into book The Black Arts (which got me into esotericism proper). Very excited for the video of tarot!

I don't know that particular book, but it sounds sensible if It starts here, it does seem like the most approachable way in (which doesn't say much for the other existing approaches!) :) These really are the foundations on which all else is built. Foolish Fish I think The tree of life and tarot was the third chapter. The first was about history of magic and famous practitioners. The second was about numerology and Gematria. After that it’s astrology and alchemy, I think. The last chapter was about witchcraft and black mass and demons. It was a great book and very well written.

I have seen some people claim the 10-piont tree of life is "false" and the 12-point is the true tree. I haven't been avoid to find any information either way? can I get your (or anyones) thoughts on this, maybe a place to research further? I know nothing about the tree of life, so I have no way to judge who is right.
Is it in DuQuette's _The Chicken Qaballa_ where he says something like, "The 'trick' is to trick the archangels into 'doing our bidding' in Atzeruth and bringing it down to us in Assiah?!?"

Yes, me too, I always learned Water is emotions. The correct order, from highest to lowest is Fire (spirit), Air (mentalism), Water (emotions), Earth (body). Mentalism is higher than emotionalism. Foolish Fish makes this correction in later videos.
I really don't use these anywhere near enough to justify even having these :D I'd love to have a reservoir pen (or ten!) but it's just not a priority at the moment. Do you?

Question, if we take the 12 zodiacs and apply them in there Historical elemental correspondences, would that make Aquarius Water, and here for Angel would also be water? Likewise with Scorpio being Air?
Or is the application of thoes 4 symbols purely a method used by the Golden Down and wouldn't be altered if we applied the Historic method? This just occured to me, lol.

I've a nearly lifelong love of this subject and I think you're doing great work with both these and your book reviews. The "schematics" in the Kabalah videos help one with their conceptions I think. The one thing I just dont understand is that liquid is more "solid" or dense than gas, so air should, in my mind, be up higher, closer to spirit, and water should be right above earth... When thinking about manifestation, it seems to me that you travel from spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical, or of course... Plasma/wands (spirit), air, water, and earth... from most volatile to most stable... I just cant wrap my head around water and air being switched... And even if you use the physical body as the map... the crown is on top, the brain is above the heart, and then the base chakra connects to the ground...
My mystery school teachings have the order working from the bottom up. Starting with Earth and then water covering earth. Air is above the water and at the very top is fire 🔥.
Exactly, it is from least to most dense as per Masonry, Air, Fire, Water and then Earth. How people make this basic mistake and insist on spreading fake teachings is beyond me

END QUOTE. According to my understanding from how I have been studying your version of Air, fire, Water and Earth would be correct for use in the Temple for the purpose of ritual.
@@macavalli2619 most books and learnings I've seen on this show the order as water above air, so I can't fault anyone for following what they were taught. In all honesty, I wasn't taught it. In my early magick and tarot studies, I realized that the suits and elements were arranged in such a way as to the spirit moving to the manifest, or from manifest to spirit... I was sure I'd hit on something great and was really excited to discover that this was what kaballa and thoth tarot were talking about, I just couldn't wrap my head around the air water switch. (And I mean, it took me a long time to work out my theories and my ordering and my understanding of the elements. I realized that they corresponded with the "states of matter" we learned about in school, but fire was confounding me, because we were never taught about plasma. I had to seek that information out and then it all really made incredible sense. But I knew I was still missing SO MUCH. Discovering the kaballa made me feel like I was on the right track, because it was speaking about ALL the ideas I was working through... I'm so relieved that it's not universally excepted as correct, even though it's the most taught and known way of ordering.
I heard Poke Runyon say that Kabbalah most likely originated from a synthesis of Pythagorean mathematical mysticism and Simonian (Simon Magus) Samaritan Gnosticism , in the 1st century AD. Zohar was fabricated around 1280 AD. Paganism pervades the system, it is not precisely Jewish. (Judaism itself arose out of paganism, Canaanite gods, plus later Babylonian influences, etc. ).
While there is definitely some proto kaballistic elements in first temple Judaism I'd certainly agree the zohar and to a greater extent lurianic kaballah clearly derrive in part from simonian gnosticism On the pythagoreanism however Margaret Barker argues in several of her books that pythagoreanism partly derrived from first temple traditions.
Excellent knowledge and teaching! I will say the ancient Egyptian tree (where i believe they might have received it long ago) has another step that makes the highest realm more compatible as its own division and that is the absolute subjective realm/stage of God's pure BEING, - and ours since we are made in IT'S image - symbolized as "0" above the tree where "no things" but pure consciousness exists. No thoughts etc because the thoughts are things and they are the beginning of creation's manifestation and thoughts are categorized at sphere 1 at the minimum (i don't claim expert so thoughts, or some thought types, might manifest in further spheres beyond the 1st although i don't believe they are).The Hebrew tree is awesome but unintentionally or otherwise i believe it has some fine tuning reserved for adepts.
Yes, I've not gone into Ain, Ain Soph, and Ain Soph Aur, yet or into the "5th element", there really is so much to discover. For the moment I offer this as a way in for people who are new to esoteric concepts and practices, but I'm not excluding the idea of digging deeper later on... Thanks for the tip on the Egyptian tree of life, I imagine you are most likely right, as most of the Jewish mystic system stems from there (and then it, in turn, from Zoroastrianism etc...). Can you recommend a particularly good source on the Egytian Tree?

Especially if they put the time and effort/work in and live it! I assume the Jewish tree is used as a categorizing system (certainly) AND to take account of flawed programming of the person or lower self? Then go into trance meditation with certain scenarios involving unwanted/wanted behavior and reprogram? Glad i came across your channel! I believe it's very needed for us all so thank you much!
The whole world is a thought form. Read a book from Anna Wise. I can't remember the name of it. She went into the brainwaves, though. Alpha, beta, theta, and delta. The 4 brainwaves' functions match perfectly with the 4 qaballistic worlds. In other words the 4 world's are merely God's brainwaves, so to speak.😉
