Coach gets it. When he says things like "that doesnt happen here. We make sure guys get whats promised" or " hey young guys out there if you come here and know your play book you are gonna get a chance to play and our QB is gonna get you the ball". Hes talking to the kids on there level. Hey guys you wanna play agaisnt good teams on national TV prime time games eyes from the whole nation on you come here and shine. Or you can go somewhere else that maybe has a bigger symbol on there helmet (according to some) and ride the bench till you are a 4th or 5th yr kid realizing you are not gonna play w the 5 star kids coming in getting promised playing time. Why not go where you are gonna play.
@cusesportstalk To me it's not just the he's cool or speaks the lingo. Guys like Hugh Feeze and Bobby Petrino did that well. It's more the honesty. He's not gonna lie to a kid. He's not gonna let a kid get lied to by a staff member or NIL representative. Everything is up front it's genuine.
