Randy and is so obvious how much you love your children and how pleased you are by their performance they are top-notch professionals no different than you and Mama your mama did a well blessed job with them be proud enjoy them
This is phenomenal. Audra's voice is the epitome of high lonesome soul. The musicians are so on point. Wayfaring Stranger is one of my all-time favorites, and this is definitely in my top 3, with Tony Rice as well as Simon Khorolskiy. Thank you for sharing.
I met your enchanting music after discovering The Petersens. Now every night I always listen to something of both and it makes my day better. Greetings from Italy.
Emmitt has that resonator all fired up. Hopefully the Franz' and the Petersen's can do a tour together. Keep it up. You guys knocked this one out of the park.
And add the Lindsey Family to go on tour with the Franz & Petersen families.....& it would be truly amazing! All three are incredible! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8bPlRzEWY_E.html
Such a great version!! Without all the back noise I can just imagine how beautiful this would be. Leave it tho. You only capture the spirit of a song once. She got it here.
One mike for voice, one more for instrments tells you all Real people , practiced in thir craft , playing with a pinch of stardust, all to spead their goodwill.
Great band only found them after hearing Emmitt playing with the Petersons . Maybe you should all get together for a big jam and record it for the world to hear.
LYRICS - Wayfaring Stranger (traditional) I am a poor wayfaring stranger While traveling through this world below. This is no sickness, toil, or danger In that bright world to which I go. Chorus #1 I’m going there to see my father, I’m going there no more to roam. I’m only going over Jordan; I’m only going over home. I’ll soon free from every trial; This form will rest beneath the sod. I’ll drop the cross of self-denial, And enter in my home with God. Chorus #2 I’m going there to see my Savior, Who shed for me His precious blood. I’m only going over Jordan; I’m only going over home. (End tag last line of chorus) Mandolin and lead vocals: Audra Franz Guitar and harmony vocals: Caleb Franz Bass and harmony vocals: Ruth Ann Franz Fiddle: Olivia Franz Dobro: Emmett Franz Guitar: Randy Franz Guitar: Zachary Reinke
With wonderful groups like this and the Meyers; and such great soloists like Moe Pitney, it makes me wonder if a great revival of old time country music isn't on the horizon. Hope so!!!
GREAT VOCALS, THE MUSICIANS ARE REALLY GREAT ENJOY ....LOVE IT LISTEN TO THE WORDS FOLKS,,IT CAN'T HURT & IT MAY BLESS YOU ,IF NOTHING ELSE GREAT MUSIC, GREAT!!
I love this! And I love the Franz Family - superb vocal harmonies, great musicality, and just a hugely-talented family of musicians. And wonderfully-inspiring songs ... what a combination!!! Their performances are always super professional, but still relaxed in terms of delivery... wonderful!
They are just amazing! Emmett's mother has been called home to Heaven. So my condolences to Emmett and his family with this loss. We are all just passing through this world. If you have Jesus as your personal LORD and Saviour, then you are assured of being forever with The LORD in Heaven (instead of Hell)! There will be no more tears or sorrow......for The LORD GOD will wipe away the tears from our eyes and He will rejoice over us with singing. This is what the Bible promises! Repent of your sins & receive Jesus today! The LORD is gracious and compassionate. There is no sin too great that the blood of Jesus can not wash away. Jesus rose from the dead three days after being crucified. He is coming back soon. We are living in the last days!
Yes....The Franz Family is amazing....along with The Petersen & The Lindsey Family! This one is awesome too! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8bPlRzEWY_E.html
Superb - excellent rendition of one of the greatest gospel(?) songs. Fantastic drive. My legs go twitching with the rhythm. And the singer has an enormous voice. Love the dobro, too. Heard you guys for the first here, but was hooked right away. Keep on going. Peace and Greetings from Germany.
