@@lolochan9915 my comment was just a joke but is education so bad that people don't know what weight is? weight = mass * g, where g=9.8m/s^2 constant over the surface of the earth. So no acceleration of the body, and saying "too much weight" is indeed calling him fat...

​@@RPD_psok i have an idea : maybe we are missing the distance bit ! If you take someone and get them to do somenthing that is significantly too much for their range of motion they will get hurt , That fall was from too high so his ankles (or ig the posterior chain) couldn't take/dampen all the energy in time ! So maybe it's is indeed a matter of weight and distance , as well as maybe time time may also be a factor honestly

now I'm wondering how I can get my ankkes to do that. In physical therapy greater than a whole year solid. finally therapist gave me ankle exercises because I have something going on in every segment of my spine. luckily not serious stuff just painful. so now seeing this short, I have a whoe new leve of goas once I reach PT goals...safely ofcourse😊

On a good day I can reach mine, just not for more than 15 seconds. lol Being sedentary for 5 years really jacked with my body and it didn't help that I sat cross legged 18/7. Stay active kids! Or you'll get old and regret it.

As a child my ankles moved in some massively strange ways all of their own volition, taking me off guard and catching me by surprise constantly 🤦 it took wearing high heels to stop them from doing it. They no longer do their own thing and I no longer wear heels 😏 my ankles are still pretty flexible though

There are indeed harmful exercises but most of them are because of bad form. Like bench dips are bad because it destroys your shoulder rotator cuff but if you rotate your wrists to fast outward it actually fixes the problem. So instead of your hand pointing behind you, it should be pointing to the side.

same here! i can comfortably walk a few dozen feet (before any sort of pain) on the outer side parts of my ankles and outer part of my feet and have no idea why. if i stretch beforehand, sometimes i can even go up a few stairs like that.

I've sprained my ankles so many times, last time was really bad a few years ago. I don't think I can ever strengthen them after tearing the ligaments so much.

Then this exercise would really help you, when we hurt ourselves we tend to baby the hurt parts, which weakens them and raises the probability of reinjuring them

So what do I do to strengthen my ankles after a sprain? I sprained it in January but I’ve been constantly moving on it since then at work. I work in the food industry. On occasion my ankle hurts when I’m not actually on it such as when I’m sitting down or laying down.

I twisted my left ankle about 6-8 years ago, it still hurts when i do move it on the sides, it's REALLY stiff, and I can't move it like i do with my right ankle, it's really annoying 🥹
