Wow! This was so human, natural creative, refreshing. I am one of those 50+. years devotees. The fact that some of our marriages were sustainable is a big achievement when the whole atmosphere was stacked against love, care, affection and respect between husband and wife, well, especially from husband to wife and father to child. Hearing of your marriage is beautiful, how everyone offered you a blessing. And I understand your affection for your daughter’s poo! It’s true, it’s sweet before the child begins to take foods! Your having known love as a child from and between your parents is a gift which supports your own ability to enter a wholesome relationship. I was fortunate to have felt deeply loved by my father and I can assure you, your love for your daughter is the most precious gift you can give her. Thank you, both of you for this sweet and deep heart conversation.

Sometimes (or far too often, perhaps more in the past than now), the term 'part-time' devotee is referred to those who do not live in the asrama. Quite mistaken.
