Went to a Skatepark in Osaka, Japan and was blown away by the level of skateboarding I witnessed. These kids got serious tricks even at a young age. Later on also featuring the Freestyle Skate Champion Isamu.

Besides being crazy good these kids just put a smile on your face, they are so supportive and seem to be having a lot of fun. Been loving these Japan videos, hope your having fun! Also Isamu still just blows me away, his tricks and his style are so good!

the incredible thing is that some parents in japan are really supportive to their kids skating. even from such a really young age. it creates such a nice atmosphere to the skating scene in Japan

in Japan if you want to do something, you can. You have support from school with lot of extra classes, also from parents. Completely different country and i love that. I wish to have that support when i was kid

I mean, Isamu is a five time freestyle world champion at age 19, he does a lot of tricks in contests... Though something is to be said about the fact that there isnt THAT many new tricks and Rodney invented a lot of the old ones.

Japanese culture and social norms, comes the prevalence of skate. man, street skate might have brought back the rebel ethos in Japan. Considering that skating is a way to express one's discipline and freedom through body, mind, and soul.
