The Friendly Swede Fire Steel and Magnesium on Paracord: Simple and Solid 

Fire steel and magnesium - pretty basic items for making a fire, but if you've used the before you know that sometimes the quality makes it hard to get them to work. I was quite happy with this item from The Friendly Swede. I found the fire steel to work fine and I found the magnesium easy to scrape off. Add in some paracord (about 8 feet) and it's an easy win for about $7.00 on Amazon - check it out.
