Really? I like sports but this is US inbred namedropping and completely uninteresting statistics for almost anyone who’s not from the US. It’s not ”magic”. It is the lack of witt, dynamic and timing in the show, which once was one of the few things that made Buzzfeed Unsolved unique, in contrast to the other zillon channels that already coverered the exact same subjects.

What if the frozen envelope was lightly misted with water before being frozen? Also, on the other hand, would the results really have been a lot different if that didn't happen. Having the draft on national TV also had an impact. I think it is just hard to isolate the two.

Dry ice wouldn't have worked. Dry Ice burns at touch which is why heavy gloves are used when handling the stuff. Paper would have been way to thin to protect someone from the burn.

I'm not a sports fan but I'm surprisingly enjoying this series and I think it's because of the hosts, the video-formula, and the editing. Kudo Shinichi Shane and Ryan are incredible but that doesn’t mean that Zack isn’t. You don’t have to put someone down to compliment someone else, both Shane and Zack are great. Also, Shane didn’t want to do the show, as I have already stated, he probably wouldn’t be happy doing this show. Nobody is forcing you to watch this, if you don’t like it then don’t watch.

Zack was one of the Buzzfeed OGs, I'm sad that people don't know him anymore. He was famous on the channel before Ryan and Shane, folks! Anyway, I think I'd enjoy this show more if also focused on sports I liked: hockey, soccer, tennis, gymnastics. There are a fair few scandals in those sports but it's Ryan's show, I get that he'd focus on sports he knows about.

Please please look at 1919 World Series and the infamous Black Sox scandal. All players found guilty of throwing the series and were blackballed. Adam Villalobos Shoeless Joe Jackson was considered by many to be the greatest baseball player of all time. During those times, baseball owners didn’t really pay players a “ton” of money. The owner of the White Sox was notoriously bad about paying his players next to nothing. Many baseball players actually worked a job outside of playing baseball to support themselves. In 1919, the white Sox went up against the Cincinnati Reds in the World Series, with many people betting on the Sox to win it. The story goes that Jackson, along with 7 other White Sox players took money from a well known gangster to throw the World Series. However, Jackson batted .348 and had the series only home run..causing many to believe he never took the money at all. However all 8 players were found guilty, and banished from baseball.

Paper has very little water, very little heat capacity... So even if it was frozen, it takes very short time for it to heat back up - to a degree where it spinning in a dome (which equals a convection oven) would render it indistinguishable for a human hand in probably less than 30 seconds after leaving the freezer. That includes dry ice.

It’s always been rigged. The Pelicans won the lottery the year the league owned the team, the Charlotte Hornets should have gotten the pick as and drafted Anthony Davis. I do theatre in school and I’ll tell you straight up: We’re always most concerned with what we can’t control (in this situation the cards falling out of the drum) and not the controllable stuff (picking cards). In addition he could’ve just been nervous thinking about if it wasn’t the Knicks what would happen to the NBA and what would he have to do to fix everything.
