Today I want to show you my TOP 3 features of the FUJIFILM XS20 after using it for about 3 weeks now. What do you think of the features? Did I miss an incredibly great feature?

you are very welcome and i am happy it was helpful! The IBIS part is where opinions seem to differ...i think it goes down to what your expectations are..maybe you need to try it in real life in your store :)

Thanks for these videos. Like you, I love having the wheel to change film sims right there...I use it often in concert photography. But my #1 love of this camera is the new battery, which is so much better than the previous battery used in the X-S10 and the X-T series before X-T4....the new battery allows me to shoot full sets of 3 or 4 bands and not worry about changing batteries.

The FUJIFILM XS20 is definitely the camera I wanna get once I see a good price for it, looks like it ticks all the right boxes for a fun, travel/hybrid camera that can do video too :)

actually camera has a lot of great features and customization . In menu you can find almost everything to setup . LCD has 5 steps of brightness! and quality of EVF and LCD are on same lvl than in my Sony a7IV or even bettter

I found IBIS bad for walking shots . Ibis works, but it shakes ( more roll I'd say ) . And in Final Cut, stabilization does not work well on video files from Fuji when with Sony files it works better . For static shots and panning yes Ibis is great

Totally agree, have the xs20 for about 4-5 months and tried to take videos while walking, unfortunately the IBIS is terrible for that purpose. for static panning and tilting though it is good enough, I have three lenses, Tamron 17-70 with OIS and two primes viltrox 13mm and fuji 33mm and I think the walking footage is better on the non OIS lenses. seems like IBIS and OIS do not match well on xs20 and also post stabilization as you said doesn't do well and digital stabe makes the corners jerki. For photos though, the IBIS is incredible and makes me shoot with my fuji prime up to 1/6th of a second handheld and get very sharp results at night. at the end had to buy a gimbal for videos. The other problem is that gimbals are not working with fuji xs20, they work but the connection to camera doesn't work so is hard to do adjustments while shooting.

I would be interested to see comparison between sigma 56mm and Fuji 33mm hehe I know different focal lengths (50mm vs 84mm) but still curious of them!

@@camerainmybag I understand hehe I just bought recently xs20 and now ordered sigma 18-50 and 56mm. Not sure if and when I could afford Xf 33mm 1.4 but I would love to have at least one original Fuji lens! By the way I also like Canon! Was using recently R6mark II and RF 24-70 2.8 ! I love Canon lenses but unfortunately due to financial reasons I kept buying and selling them 🤦🏻‍♂️ so now just testing also xs20..

And for photography I was not impressed at all. First Fuji for me with IBIS. Compared to my outdated Olympus OMD EM1 II which is much better

Would you recommend this camera for a beginner? Is 15-45mm kit lens good or should I sell it and buy something else better for portraits?

hi there :) i can definitely recommend it for a beginner. the learning curve is there for every camera and if you like the style of fuji: go for it :) if you really want to get into portrait photography, sell the kit lens. i can definitely recommend the Sigma 56mm/1.4 for portraits :) if you want a more “allrounder” lens you can also go for a 35mm. i hope that helped :)

I got a Sigma 18-50 2.8 instead of the kit lens: versatile, lightweight, good build, and gives you many options for composition.

HI there! YES absolutely. If you want a Fuji it´s the perfect mix between having that "vintage" feeling but not too many wheels to navigate. I love it for that :)
