Denyiera peoples lives in my grandparents land, that is Offuman to the name of the Chief those days is Nana Kumanini Gyamfi , alias Nana Kwame Gyamfi Chief of Offuman. My grandparent , the land owner.

Thank you very much Professor, for this magistral course. You said that the Denkyira are mostly found at Dunkwa. That's true fir Ghana. But I woukd like to add that a very large number of Agona people are in Ivory Coast. They could even be more than the remnants in Ghana. For example, the Baoule called Allandjira, the Akye from Alepe near Abidjan. These Akyes ecen have a town called Denkyira. Also, the Agni people called bini, the Ando, rhe afni abe, some of the agnis from Abengourou (ampenkro) etc. All these peoples are Denkyiras. And there are many more.

Even Ashanti hene is waiting for the new born king to rule the world who is from the house of Agona denkyira Piesie Boa Amponsam (king David ) and ntim Gyakari (king solomon )lineage who are still hiding in the Bono region.

To add, some of the Asante king's eg Nana Opoku ware ,Nana Osei Tutu I and even the Ex president Kuffour and many prominent asante's relate maternally and some partenally to the denkyira stool where pure akan tradition is taught .therefore it is said a royal does not wake up to rule, unless his traditionally train by his subjects or predeccess therefore denkyira is the gate way to all the ancestral history and akan tribes including the ashanti until the fiayiase war brought the down fall of the denkyira kingdom never deles denkyira is still denkyira in our minority ,We are the majority in the minority.
