I think it’s disappointing that they don’t carry at least one of everything per customer even if there’s only 3 passengers. It’s not okay when you’re paying thousands.
Half agree, but you have no idea the level of waste in premium cabins. More often than not I have people who take one bite out of a steak and give it back to me. I have to convince people to only have a light breakfast because when they wake up, they won’t be able to take a full 5 course breakfast and I’m right 95% of the times when they deny the light option.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable not to fully cater for passengers who already have special meals ordered. But only carry for items for one passenger when you have three on the plane is definitely poor - there’s a bit of a middle ground they should be able too find.
I've only flown Emirates 2x...once from Miami to Dubai and then the return. Both on 777. I got to fly in business class heading to Dubai and was in coach on the way home. That 16.5hr non-stop to Dubai was amazing in business class. It was my first international business class flight (and hopefully not my last). The flight crew were AMAZING and so attentive. They even invited me to the galley to take a selfie with the crew. One FA was sharing recommendations with me of sites "not to miss". She was so sweet. That wasn't even in first class. I can't wait to try that one day. Everyone has different experiences on their flights. Shame that your flight crew weren't as friendly and warm as the ones on my flight.
@@nataschanatascha7356It was my first ever international business class trip so for me it was incredible. Flight crew were awesome and I loved everything about it. Nothing "blahhh" to me. They don't offer A380 from Miami.
@ibrplayz892I can't explain their routes and flight times. Just know what it was. If you search non-stop flights on Emirates right now from Miami to Dubai you will get all sorts of flight times ranging from under 15hrs to over (closer to 16hrs). I'm sure flight durations are affected by weather / jetstream.

While I love your reviews of first class in various airlines, for me reviews of business class or economy plus/similar would be more beneficial. (As someone who flies at the most 100 times a year).
Just flew emirates first class on the 777 & the A380 for the 1st time and was amazed. I laminated the tickets. It's beautiful and the service was top notch. Showering on a plane is still shocking to me. Can't wait to do it again but I have to try other airlines.

I am a bit saddened to hear that the FA crew were not happy - My experience with Emirates in Business Class has always been amazing. Way over the top when I have had the fortune of being in an almost empty flight, but still fab on full flights. It is the one thing that keeps me coming back . Thanks for the review... really enjoyed it.
I love the idea of this series! I watch these videos not just because it’s fun to see the ultimate versions of flying, but also because I want recommendations! When they’re all the “best versions of the best” it’s not as helpful when you have a departure city and destination in mind (that probably don’t have that best of the best).
hey, I was a cabin crew with emirates and to be honest the game changer IS a game changer, the difference is absurd, it is soooo much better, so truly if you can book a flight with one of the game changer do it the first class is just amazing you will not regret it one second !
Flew 1st Class on many airlines but I base my desicion on: 1. do not need a shower 2. Just want 20 min. to find all the buttons, storage, and TV 3. Serve dinner 1.5 hrs. into flight 4. Please fix my bed so I can sleep 5. If no attendant is available, I do not fly that airline again.
Surprised you guys weren't directed to the C lounge (better than the B lounge imho) since that's the concourse your flight departed from. The C lounge has a direct access to boarding gates which feels very exclusive. Nevertheless, the buggy transfer instead was a special experience for sure.
Nah, with all respect, buggies are for the elderly and the disabled. Two young fit men like yourselves should have been able to knock off the walk to the gate in less than 20 minutes. Walking would have been far more elegant than sitting up there like Princes of Persia for all and sundry to gawk at. Remember, 10,000 steps a day is a minimum, even on days you are flying.
It's worth noting that Emirates has two types of first class on the 777. The great one has virtual windows on the middle seats which I've heard have views whicb could blow the actual window seats out of the water. Sadly though, the one that flies to Manila has the inferior type and because of my ignorance that time, booked middle. Anyway, I still enjoyed the preceding flight from Heathrow which was an A380 and with a shower. That was my only first class flight in my life, and I got it for a bargain during the end days of the pandemic (early 2022). Nowadays, it's too pricey so I've got to be content with the controversial business class on the 777 or maybe go back to economy
I recently flew FC from London Stansted to Mumbai. The STN-DXB flight was the game changer 777 and DXB-BOM was the Regular 777. While I agree about the soft product being the same, the seat and luxurious feel of the Game Changer FC was a different league. I would never pay FC money to fly the Regular 777 after seeing the Game Changer Product.
‘Worst’ is relative. That’s a pretty good seat even without the showers and bar, when compared to most airlines who offer a first class. With that being said, I will only take this on a shorter flight if I had unlimited funds and desperately wanted to fly in Emirates first, business class is sufficient frankly. Emirates long haul first class on the A380 to experience all the bells and whistles will be be my first sort after option.
Great video. We were lucky enough to try the 777 First once and it was just fantastic, with a crew who wanted us to experience and enjoy absolutely everything-which we did! As always, the crew is key.
The crew could've been fatigued by the way. In the middle east they don't get as much rest as in europe or the US, and they do a lot of red-eye flights at EK
Honestly airlines need to just get people to pre order the food they want! You can choose a lot of I want it but it is so much waste catering every menu item especially in First and Business when they have many options.
Loved the service! Emirates has a great first class product but on my recent flight the food from jfk was disappointing - salty and dry which was surprising and not their norm. The return was perfect .
The noisy 777 is a total mess, this plane is 2 classes worse than the A380, no showers, no bar, 7 in a row business class seats often not even lie-flat, and 10 seats in Economy in a row with a much more narrow cabin compared to the A380. On the other hand, why fly First Class when you do neither drink Champagne nor other alcohol and only eat vegetables? Doesn’t make any sense.

I have yet to see a First Class menu that makes me feel that First Class is worth it. It's probably cultural, but I would most likely be hungry when I disembarked due to a lack of simple food. There's only so much salad (without salt/pepper/mayo), soup, cheese and nuts available by the looks of it. No rice, no pasta, no noodles, no fresh fruit plate... it seems odd to me.

I've reapply started to notice lately that the Middle Eastern airlines are likely training their staff to be more focused and diligent rather than approachable and welcoming.
I flew Emirates and they lost my luggage...never got it back...their customer service was terrible about it...I had some personal childhood things in that luggage and I cried to get it back or ask them to please search for the bag...they didn't care a single bit...sorry but it's true ...I flew million times...but only on Emirates I lost my luggage. The only time I lost anything...ever...

Great to meet you! In my opinion, it's best to keep the points in your credit card account as long as you can. Keep monitoring loads and if the flight has a couple of empty seats shortly before departure (starting two weeks before), EK is very likely to release award space that you can confirm an update into at that time!
Last month I transferred at Dubai Airport at stayed at the business lounge. My app said the plane was in concourse B, so I set off only 10 mins before checkin time. But when I got to the gate, I found out my flight was actually in C. So having 5 minutes left, I literally ran through the whole concourses B and C under 10 minutes (still got last called anyway sorry Emirates). The staff said I should’ve stayed at the lounge in concourse C, but no one wants to miss THE Emirates lounge right?😅

i flew twice in emirates first and the service on the second flight was really bad. there was no smile and no talk. disappointing a bit. the food is mostly the same as in business class

Insider : Noone at Emirates likes the Stockholm route from Dubai due to the short layover. Most cabin crew try to avoid it. Maybe that's why they weren't too happy.

I realize you need no one's approval but support is always cool... If you like Oscar and he likes you, I don't think anyone is in a position to judge anyone else, starting with me! You never have made a big deal out that and you focus on producing great and honest videos. We live near Chicago but she will be moving with me to the Phoenix area this year as I've saved and invested for 40 years and we both hate the cold and taxes of IL. I can totally live without a shower and bar on a flight, I have long hair so I likely wouldn't shower onboard anyways due to being unable to shower in such a short time, and you don't get many minutes of shower water on flights. I also don't drink alcohol so I don't need a bar anywhere at anytime, just some juice, Cola, coffee/tea is all I need on a flight as far as beverages goes. I will probably never be able to fly business or first class, but should I ever be able to, I'd fly that class simply to accommodate for my chronic pain better on a flight and make the journey less taxing on me physically. Service and food wise I'm perfectly fine with economy class. Lounge at airport would be a bonus for me IF it's a peaceful and quiet area, if it's very busy then I may as well just be in the common areas instead of a premium area because the sensory overload is all the same
