I think the most infamous is a toss up between “Ulterior Motives” (“Everyone Knows That”) [which was found in the 80s adult film ‘Angels of Passion’, not like it’s that bad or anything about it being found in an adult film, lol] and “Lost In The Code” (“Digital Girl”) [which turned out to be a huge elaborate hoax because of the song being made by the OP, which, according to some Reddit users, killed the “Lostwave Golden Era” (at least, until EKT was found a month later)]. Maybe “This One’s Gonna Fly” (“Above The Clouds”) could be included in that conversation as well, since it was also a hoax, though, in this case, it wasn’t by the OP themselves. It was by someone else (that someone else being country artist Templeton Thompson).

This lost song sound so familiar I think it was made for DJs when techno came around in early 2000s. During Friday and Saturday nights the radio stations around my area used to air DJs to play those type of songs for events like bars and night clubs.

I’m of two minds, we associate alterior motives with pink/purple, but a lot of people also probably associate your channel with that colour too! So I think you could go either way

Call me crazy, but in the audio of the snippet, you can hear what appears to be finger tapping or someone turning up the volume on their mobile device which could suggest that the song who ever recorded it was recording on a mobile device.

the op posted another song known by boogeyman which went unsolved for 5 months then they decided to upload what they had to vocaroo and within minutes (yes MINUTES) it was found in full with the name of the artist and the title of the song. that does not look good for watzatsong 30 second limit but i think that limitation exist because of copyright and theyre not meant to be a music sharing site. im also sure that the op is happy he listened to the bombardment of requests for longer samples now. it also appears that hes uploading the full recordings for all of his uploads now.

Back in the late 90's-,early 00's Dance Dance Revolution was a huge series. It was so huge some arcades couldn't get the real thing as the manufacturer couldn't keep up with demand, so they would get knock offs. Even the home console market had some knock off games. Perhaps this song was made for one of them.
